Several years ago, I purchased a beautiful ring at Diamond Daves. I always support local businesses with my patronage and I was thrilled with my purchase. Since then, I have made several jewelry purchases from Diamond Daves. Recently, I took the ring back to the store for an update of the appraisal and despite the fact that Dave custom designed and made this ring...I was charged $30 for the appraisal. This was most disappointing and certainly a surprise. I could understand a small fee for the paperwork, but I thought $30 for a product that originated from their shop was unwaranted. I will no longer patronize this shop... I am so disappointed.
