Until they fix the no refunds policy you run the risk of getting scanned...dont ever go they for anything but clothing....and even then you should watch what you buy...the poor souls..that work the sorting rooms are part of the arc program...get paid one dollar a day...and when they leave the program they have no useable skills I of work to find work with other then the retail industry....some of these people that have been there for a year or more..power back child support and have no hope of every bring able to pay what the salvation army charges for to stay there...Id you really want your money to go to displace that does do the most good then go goodwill...

I have shopped only twice and will never return, as their set up or displays are horribly disorganized, and their refund policy is bogus. No exchanges or refunds. All sales - final. I know of only one other thrift shop that does this, but it is owned/governed by their next-door church. The two times I did shop, many clothing tags were incorrect, which is beyond irritating, and the sales staff was useless. I received a limp "apology" and then the management stated It is what it is....There are other places to go! Wow - wonderfully run establishment... Dead amazed they remain in business

The manager sold me a home theatre system which he told me was new in box and working. I got home and it most certainly was not new or working, just in box. I brought it back and asked for a refund for the $250 speakers, and he refused. He ended up calling the police saying I was causing a disturbance. He sold me a box of garbage for $250 and refused to take it back. Salvation Armys slogan is "Doing the most good." How is ripping me off for $250 good?

Why donate to Salvation army over goodwill you may ask? The answer is Salvation army is a nonprofit. Goodwills only good will is the employment of people that need to do community service. Dont they have an oblagaion to keep that money local they dont give back to our community like Salvation army. Support bussness that support us.

Its a Salvation Army Store folks! Not Macys. We shop here for deals, not to be pampered. Every second hand store that Ive watched get a new manager (many and often) who tidies the place up, raises the prices. GW averages twice SA. You decide. Im happy there are still real 2nd hand stores.

The SA 28th Street store has the best selection of furniture of all the SA and Goodwill stores in town. I have bought several furniture and decorating items. However, the childrens clothing is sorted by color, not size, which makes it hard to look through the racks for my grandson sizes.

Very poor service. I am currently standing at the register and have been waiting for 20 + minutes to check out. The manager has been rude not just to the waiting customers, but also to the employees. Do not recommend. There are better thrift stores in the area.

That was the nastiest Salvation Army Ive ever been too. I was shocked because of the location of the store. Clothes were on the floor everywhere. Other SA stores arent like this one at all.

Most of my wardrobe comes from SA and I feel better spending my money here than Goodwill. They have great prices already and frequently have sales.

Store is large with alot of merchandise, but not organized by size. That can be frustrating. Could have had more tellers one the dollar sale!
