A wonderful place to find the perfect book. Big enough to house a fantastic selection, yet comforting and unique to make you feel at home. Great cafe and very community driven, with an excellent place for your kids to explore and get lost in the pages of an adventure. Would pay a bit more here and support something I cherish rather than get what I need cheaper from B & N or amazon and throw my money away.

Has all the books you need, and great food! Lots of childrens books and adult books. A train play set table for younger kids if needed. The cafe there is amazing; Ive gone there just to have dinner or lunch before! Its a great place to go if you need to find a book. I go there looking for specific books all the time. They always have them. Its a great cafe, bookstore, and a kind-of arts-n-crafts store.

Schuler Books is one of Grand Rapids best independent book stores. Its located on busy 28th Street and has every book a chain would have from kids books to travel books. They also have a cafe that serves coffee and lunch. Its nothing amazing, but its food. They also have enough plug ins around the cafe for people to come and work/study.

Looking for a great new and used book, music, and movie store. I would check this place out. Schuler is a great place to spend some time looking for the perfect book. Plus they have great gifts and games. The kid section is really fun too. The cafe has great pastries and coffee. Come check them out, you wont be disappointed.

Despite the large size, this Schuler location (the only one left in West Michigan) is quite cozy. The cafeteria is large and quite busy during the day, but there is usually a place to sit. The used section is gigantic and full of really good finds. I highly recommend this independent book store.

They have new and used books, cds and movies PLUS lots of "cool stuff". Socks bags, kitchen gadgets, toys, candles-everything has something to do with a certain book or genre. Staff is knowledgable, funny and personable.
