This store is well kept and set up in a way thats easy to locate the book/music/movie you need. The staff are helpful (albeit difficult to find someone free to help at peak times). Im knocking a star off mostly due to bias. Im not a fan of bookstores becoming hybrid mall kiosks with a large selection of toys/gadgets. The sterile, well lit appearance lends itself to in-and-out buying more than browsing for an extended time for a new book.

Im never usually a person who goes into a store with a specific item to buy, but rather wants to find something that sweeps me off its feet. With this Barnes and Noble being so big, I would imagine it being hard not to find what youre looking for. Also, I have a crush on the teller that waited on me, so I might be biased. 4 Star

I was passing through town and just called to see if they had a book I was looking for. The person who answered the phone was helpful & pleasant, looked up the book, went in search for it, and had it waiting at the front desk. I stopped in, made my purchase and was back on the road in minutes.

Thank God one of Barnes and Noble last stores is a good one. This location is in the Woodland Mall and is very big full of thousands and thousands of books, music, and more. Its two floors with a good coffee shop with a lot of seats and free wifi. If you need a place to be inspired or study, go here!

Shopped at the Barnes & Noble, Woodland Mall, 3195 28th St SE B - 116, Grand Rapids, MI 49512 and was able to with the sales clerks assistance locate an item and purchase it. Great help, great location and ample parking outside of the store at the mall.

Not many bookstores around anymore, and has a large enough selection that you kind find something in your interest. Sadly, the internet beats almost all prices still, so mostly used to sample different books before ordering on Amazon.

Unless you love the mall, this bookstore is disgusting. The old location on 28th was beautiful, charming, quiet, and splendidly musty. This B&N is like a Toys R Us with books. Ugh

Large 2 story Barnes & Noble Bookstore with a large selection of books and other things. Childrens section is really hands on for children.
