I have shopped here for years and years, going back to the days when it was a small store called Shop Rite. I live right around the corner, but when I need to pick something up, I usually drive down the road a few miles and go to Family Fare instead. Why? FH Foods is just too busy! Its a great place, dont get me wrong. Awesome produce, super friendly employees, great deli and hot food bar. But it is packed to the gills at almost all hours of the day. Its also a little on the pricey side. So I just drive on down the road to Family Fare because at least I can park there without a big hassle. That is honestly my only "beef" with the store; parking is very, very crowded. Other than that, its a great place. Theres even a cafe, post office, and pharmacy in there. The owners have a gold mine on their hands!

Decent selection of products for a grocery store. Id say the best part about Forest Hills Foods would be the deli. There are a group of us that have become regulars of this place (3-4 times a week). The only negative, would be the space available for dining and parking. The majority of the time, its a tight squeeze to get into the dining area, especially for a group of 5-6 people. If anyone decides to bring a cart in (which they do), you can pretty much shut off that side of the dining room for walking. For better or worse, the parking lot is typically pretty full as well. Spots and rows are very close together. If it werent so popular, this wouldnt be an issue, so its kind of a good problem to have. It can also be fairly entertaining watching people try to navigate in and out of parking spots.

The construction caused the closing of aisles, that held up my ability to access products, which I needed. Why didnt they do construction when the store closed at 11pm? It really was unpleasant. The strawberries & red grapes advertised, that I needed for a recipe were NOT available(completely gone). Plus, the mac & cheese bites by Ease that were promised "free" due to the inconvenience of the construction were also "gone." They should of offered a substitute. Lastly, the bagger("Anamalie?") was somewhat hostile, when handling my groceries she was slamming products around on the counter & throwing them into the bag.

Forest Hills foods isnt close to my home, BUT every time Im nearby I go there. The produce is fresher at FHF than anywhere else. I like to visit the meat counter. Most of all, the salad bar rocks! It has both hot food and cold, lots of variety- It is available from 10-8? Breakfast and lunch/dinner. It is not a huge store, but it has everything. There are no self-checkout lanes. Every time I have been there, the lanes are fully staffed.

I eat lunch from here a couple of times a week as they have so much available. Their hot and cold bar is wonderful, but today I went roaming into the bakery. OMG they have an awesome selection...a plethora of pretty snacks and treats. I caved and bought one of their gourmet cupcakes (lemon "sunshine") That was almost a religious experience! I usually hate frosting, but couldnt stop myself from savoring each little bit.

My favorite grocery store ever. Great premade dinners, either individual or family sized, good hours on their fresh food cafe, a starbucks, and a great deli/bakery all at a convenient location. Love the flexible hours, car service, and everything else. Highest recommendations, no bad experiences, ton to love, fantastic customer service. Small price premium, depending on where youre used to, but still very reasonable.

After entering the store. I was rushed to buy something by one of the employees or I was going to have to leave I was told. I was asking myself "is this lady for real." I could not even believe that happened. So I told her Im done shopping because of how disrespectful she was. This was my first time ever entering this unwelcoming store. I will take my business somewhere else. I would recommend this to others too.

Best store around, good people. If you ask them to stock something that you regularly purchase, they try to add the item. They carry out you groceries for you. The bakery has the best doughnuts. Staff is very knowledgeable and always willing to help with a smile.

Love this place. Pharmacy, everything is there. It is not always crowded, just during rush hour. Always fun to run into friends there. Everyone friendly and helpful. Also, they have more and more organic produce, plus Lauras beef, Star Ranch beef, superior meat.

Prices are high, so I wouldnt recommend always getting your groceries here, but their sales are decent, the store is clean, and the food made in-store is to die for. However, the staff is often very rude, and Spartan brand products are just the worst.

FHF has been the favorite "neighborhood" grocery store as long as my family has lived in Forest Hills. Some things may be a little on the pricey side, but you cant beat friendly staff from a place that has a community focus.

Good service. My favorite neighborhood store. Good selection at reasonable prices. Slightly more expensive than Meijer, but a much nicer atmosphere. Love the young helpers who assist you with your groceries to your car!

Fantastic place to grab lunch. The hit food and salad bars are always well stocked and offer a variety of quick meal options. The sandwich and deli counter are the real MVP offering fantastic sandwiches!

Consistently unfriendly cashiers. I sometimes shop there with my disabled friends. Usually get unabashedly dirty looks. We enjoy Starbucks and their Hot and Salad bar. The employees....not so much.

Decent selection of food, a pretty good deli. Parking lot is always FULL. Also, this is one of those upper level grocery stores, so expect to pay a little more for products.

Prices are a little crazy sometimes in the meat department, even for packaged processed foods. The staff is friendly and the place is very clean, so thats the best part!

The salad bar is one of the best in the area. The only reason it gets 4 stars is the rest of the shopping experience isnt the greatest. Great place for lunch though!

Our regular grocery store. Friendly staff and good produce. Prices are a little higher than meijer but usually worth it to avoid the crowds at meijer.

I shop here often! Very friendly service! The prices can be a little high, but I get money off my gas per gallon so I feel like it evens out.

Great bakery, interesting soups (love their mushroom brie soup and smokey poblano soup), and a good selection of sandwiches, pizza and sushi.
