When I first noticed that the service had started to decline, I was reluctant to write an honest review. In spite of the impersonal experience, the mistakes in my “regular” drinks and the lack of more affable service (their baristas don’t even make small talk with you while they prepare your drink as it’s their training to do), I wasn’t done with them just yet. Now that I am, I can give an HONEST review. First of all, since each location is individually owned and operated, customers can attribute their experiences to each location’s owner. This location has an franchisee that owns several. Therefore, customer service isn’t that important. He makes his money regardless if one customer is satisfied or not. Still, the degree in which each location honors coupons is dependent on that desire for satisfaction. As an educator, I can’t abide ignorance. This location would rather lose over $6 and the cost of two cups than to just take $1 off of a 32 oz latte. According to the barista, the price listed on the wall for a 32 oz latte is a discount that isn’t identified as such anywhere in writing for the customers to see. (Most establishments don’t double the cost of a drink just because it is twice as big as a smaller size.) The icing on the cake was when she said they save more money by not honoring coupons. Well, duh, coupons are for the benefit of the customer, and to drum up more business. Customers simply need to be more savvy to get that benefit. That being said, I hope that anyone owning a 32oz mug with a buy-one-get-one-free coupon decides to get TWO drinks, complete with the cups. Then you can pour your drinks into the one 32oz mug, thus costing the location the cost of a full beverage AND two cups. Then they can figure how much money they lost and whether good customer service would be more cost effective.

The light flavor hot chocolate is wonderful. Theres just one problem...NO CROSSAINTS!!! Whats up with that??? Evidently youve never sat down by a crackling fireplace with hot chocolate and a warm crossaint... PURE HEAVEN.... Get those crossaints in there and Ill be in every morning... The clerk was friendly and courteous even though they were closing in 10 minutes. The girl with the broom however was sweeping around my feet as I was standing at the counter waiting for my cup. She never said hi or excuse me, even after I strpped out of her path. Tacky behavior. Other than that I think the clerk wad wonderful.

I love biggby coffee and especially this location. Its never crowded, the staff is always friendly and greet you as soon you enter. Yes the prices are a bit high but its a Michigan based company unlike Starbucks or dunkin donuts. Plus Mondays are half off, they have coupons, and a awards card for frequent customers

This biggby has the friendliest staff of any place i have ever been. Most places there is at least one person who is rude but every time i came in here they were ALL really nice. I visited there a lot more when i lived out that way and used the wifi often when i was in college.

A good location for getting a quick fix of caffeine. The selection of drinks and food is limited with most of the beverages being on the very sugary side. The actual space is nice and clean though and there is free WiFi available.

They are way too expensive. For a medium drink( just a black coffee) and a bagel it cost me almost five bucks!!! What a rip off! Dunkin Donuts is better quality and their prices are much more reasonable.

The coffee is excellent, nice place to sit and study, and the baristas were very helpful in suggesting numerous options based on what I was interested in. Try the Purple Haze!!! :)
