Overpriced, horrible service, not that great. Honestly, Im not a fan of this coffee chain. They, to me, are trying really unsuccessfully to be Starbucks (Salted Caramel Mochas, pretty much everything...). And they are not even half as friendly with the same or more exorbitant prices. Everyone complains about Starbucks being expensive and yet, even the evil expensive Starbucks offers 50 cent refills for coffees whereas Crimson Cup just gives you a blank look and then shrugs and says "sorry." The Ohio State University campus Crimson Cups are especially gruesome as they are unavoidable and have the worst service of any coffee house I have ever been to. Including European coffee bars. Today, I got an iced tea and it was 2.95 for what would have been a Venti at Starbucks (about 80 cents more than Starbucks) and there was no option for a 50 cent refill (which there would have been at SB) and when I went to get a straw there were none, so I waited 10 minutes after hearing someone ask for the straws only to have the girl blankly come back up at another query (as if we should know) and say "were out of straws." It is ridiculous that these kind of establishments are what they are expecting us (the students) to patronize. Its almost like they are trying to impress upon us the habit of expecting and bearing less than mediocre service.

I love their coffee. It is delicious. Most of the staff is great. It is clean, they are courteous, the ambiance is nice, and their philosophy is great. The biggest complaint I have about this place, which has made me decide to cease going here for awhile, is the very loud female worker they have there. It is as if she is deliberately talking as high as her voice can go so that everyone there can hear what she is saying, going on and on about vegan cooking and "nerdy" things and her vegan shopping lists, with the added, pleasant diarrhea joke thrown in. It is so distracting, that I have a difficult time working when she is there.

I definitely prefer the one on High St over this one (lattes are better, theres more seating), but still I love Crimson. They have great options and sell a decent selection of grounds and beans. There is little seating, so if you want to work here and get here during the busy hours, youll probably be at the bar for an hour before a table opens up. Staff is fairly friendly. I dont believe they have pattycakes muffins like they do at the one on High, but they still offer a few different baked goods!

I was indecisive when ordering and was told to try the cold brew. It came in a small glass and was not all that amazing. My girlfriend ordered an ice mocha and it was so sugary that she said it was like going to Starbucks. They didnt ask her if she wanted whipped topping which is something she typically avoids. So it was good coffee, but not an amazing experience compared to other coffee shops that I frequent.

While not my favourite coffee shop in Columbus, Crimson Cup serves great coffee and its baristas are people who really care about what they make. Its unfortunate that Crimson Cup has gotten itself a poor reputation from being on OSUs campus for so long, but thats only because they have students who dont care about what theyre doing make the coffee and it almost always comes out tasting burnt

I really enjoyed going to Crimson Cup. The coffee there is delicious. I dont usually get anything other than a cup of their house coffee... I dont do anything like a latte or mocha or anything like that... But its delicious The freshly roasted coffee is tasty and the service is great. Plus its local and you cant beat a drive-thru.

Waited almost 15 minutes to get the wrong order. All I ordered was a large coffee and a sand which, both were completely different than what I ordered. I would like to support local business but my experience was awful. A large coffee should not take so long to serve and is extremely hard to mess up but they managed to do both.

Parking was lucky, not a lot of spaces, but an excellent crimson cup frozen mocha. Very creamy, though, and you dont really taste the coffee. Small selection of nibbles, but very tasty and accommodating our selective tastes and food allergies. Love that they roast their coffee. All seats filled inside but seating also outside.

Excellent brewed coffee and a great selections of Gluten Free snacks. Ebans is the best GF bakery in the USA. They also have brownies and lemon bars that are GF. Teas and other drinks are very good. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and quick at getting your order

I like the atmosphere and they do have good coffee overall, but they remind me a lot of a Starbucks. Theres nothing super unique going on there. Maybe its just becuase they provide coffee to my university, but theyre not my favorite of all time or anything.

Very friendly staff. Couldnt resist the smell. Good combination of foods. Tasty steak. I had water because Im sensitive to caffeine, but the chai and coffees smelled delicious. And again just very friendly. I definitely recommend checking them out?

The staff is friendly and I frequent here regularly. They always give great suggestions if I am.looki g for something different than my usual latte or cold brew. The selection is also great for different tastes of coffee for being such a small store

The single brick and mortar of this roaster and consultancy puts out respectable product, but has become a little too high volume for my taste. Theyll still make a decent pour over, but those types of products have been deemphasized.

The frozen mocha has a much richer chocolate taste and stronger coffee feel than a typical starbucks frap. The server is always great and aside from a longer line during peak hours this is my favorite coffee stop on the north end.

After swearing off Big Coffee (S*) except for emergencies we have started to look local. This location is in close proximity to some frequent stops and is now a go to spot. Clean and well staffed with tasty coffee.

Always super friendly, good coffee, always get my order right. They have a drive through, and comfortable places to sit inside and out. This is how a coffee shop should be.

Good service and quality coffee! We travel for work and had a great time at this location. Our goal is a new coffee shop ever day and this ranks in our top ten!
