Ive been going to this shop for almost 5 years. They were nicer before, but they have gotten cranky. Their coffee is OK, and the service is terrible. Their charm is the location. Only the Asian lady is nice enough to smile occasionally, and everyone else just gives you crap and a b**ch face; my guess is that they feel crappy working there. And they are only nice to the people they know. Id rather go to Jittery Joes. Its just a few blocks away, they are always friendly, better coffee, and have WAAAY better pastry selections.

Bought a coffee here then went and got a tea from Starbucks about an hour later while sitting outside of Walkers. A guy, who Im assuming is the manager walked outside and very rudely told me to leave because I had starbucks. I understand the competition thing, but how he talked to me was uncalled for. I also saw him walk down to two other girls sitting down the way and told them to leave also while getting their food and throwing it away. I will not support a local business that is not thankful of their customers. Sorry.

Good cold coffee drinks, horrid hard seats, college life overdose, but decent atmosphere at times. Im beyond college age, but I find I like it here on occasion. It can get loud at night, but you have some students working and on laptops. Its hit or miss for me as a post college age guy....but its one of the only downtown spots Ill go to after 10pm aside from the grill , the globe or Georgia Theater....so thats my flavor.

Overcrowded with college students and if you want a second Wi-Fi code they will make you buy a second drink. I understand the policy but wonder why there is no flexibility for someone who is obviously working and has two devices that need Wi-Fi. As far as the pub goes, its all kids and as a person over 30 I dont go anywhere north of Hull St after dark so I dont know.

I like places that serve coffee. I like places that serve alcohol. I love places that serve both at the same time. Sometimes a quiet little spot to sit and talk. Other times its really busy and full of people and has a totally different atmosphere. I guess thats what one should expect from a coffee shop/bar. My goto place for a cup of coffee and shot of Jameson.

Good coffee, great drinks, great prices. The perfect place to hang out with friends. My favorite is the private seating out back for smokers to enjoy their drinks -- theres a heat lamp in the winter, too! Because of the location (right near the Arches), it can get pretty crowded.

For me its the best place for coffee, breakfast and alcohol in athens. This place has lot of memories associated. The best experience is having a breakfast burrito at 7AM in summers with a Mocha and yeah you got to sit outside to get the best feel for the classic city.

Walkers is my favorite coffee shop/bar in Athens. Ive been coming here to work and meet friends for almost a decade, and Ive never been disappointed. The coffee is fresh and tasty, the beer selection its robust and rotates often, and the prices are always reasonable.

A nice, laid-back bar (and coffee shop) with more focus on sitting and relaxing than other bars in the area which are more catered to standing and socializing. Some TVs and board games. Serves as a good study/reading location by day and a pleasant bar by night.

Love this place. Very laid back and chill. Was able to bring in outside food and drink a salted caramel with it. Still making my way down the hot beverage list and so far everything Ive had is delicious. Coffee, chocolate and alcohol, you cant go wrong!!

Staff is pretty "upity" and their careless attitudes towards customers make it a pretty uncomfortable expierence ....which sucks because the drinks are actually pretty okay. A townie place like this one is unlikely to change staff unfortunately

Wow what a cool place. My first time here and I am impressed. Coffee in the morning and cold beer in the afternoon. Great music list by the folks that work here and just saw a poster for booze and bingo on Thursday nights downstairs!

Great place to grab a casual beer or coffee. Has a nice little hidden nook and high back booths for private conversation or studying when there are tables available. Downstairs good for meetings or medium sized gatherings.

I would love to give this place 5 stars, the environment is great, the coffee is great, but the customer service is always lacking no matter who I get. They always seemed annoyed that I exist and that Im ordering a coffee.

Ive only been here in the evening to get a drink with friends. The cocktails are pricey but delicious and a decent sized serving. The atmosphere is chill and relaxed. Great place to hangout and chat or study downstairs.

Cozy pub and coffee joint. Great tasting lattes with a true artisan taste. The atmosphere is quiet enough for studying during the day and evening but can feel a little stuffy at times. Definitely worth a try!
