I dislike having to leave this shop a bad review but this is dirtiest and most unsanitary shop I have ever been in! Its a shame because this shop had read such great reviews but Adam had previously provided a tattoo to my brother which stayed consistently bloody - and as someone who is decently tattooed by some of the best artists in Grand Rapids, Toronto, etc. I know bleeding should not happen that profusely. When I came in for my appointment in the shop, I was not given any paperwork to sign, nor was I asked for ID (Im only 19 - usually people ask because Im so young looking) I was not shown proper sanitation of the chair I was in, nor was I shown proper application and disposal of the tattoo needle. He never changed his gloves ever and I honestly left the shop hoping he hadnt used the same needle on myself that he had used on my mother 10 minutes prior. While my design was small in size, the process lasted around 90 seconds and no aftercare or bandage was given (the plasma that coats your tattoo after thats body fluid aka BIOHAZARD, therefore the tattoo should properly bandaged to keep from infection, which a trained professional would know.) I was told to sit in the chair, prop my elbow on the arm rest with my hand on my hip creating an easy way to slip and injure myself, or the artist and just shows that the artist truly doesnt care. My mom had the same design and the lines werent very clean and I was saddened as this was her first tattoo and she was very dissapointed. Above all myself and my mother were in and out of the shop in under 20 minutes, and Ive had tattoos the size of a quarter take close to an hour to complete because of proper sanitation. I dont recommend this shop and I am spending more money fixing this mediocre tattoo.

I have no clue what this girl below me is talking about. This is one of the best shops in michigan (only 1 artist and has been around for years, how can he not be good, let alone receive multiple awards). ALL of my tattoos have came from adam and NONE have been infected or have faded over the years. and just some general knowledge ANY tattoo can become infected if it is not properly taken care of. It comes down to the cleanliness of the person. with that being said i have used a&d ointment after i had mine done and they came out perfect with no signs of infection of raising of the skin. All of his work has been Very professional and incredibly clean. he even has his own auto-clave machine for christ sakes. Ill give him 5 stars all day along with the rest of st.clair and macomb county. maybe this girls brother shouldve kept his tatt clean, but who am i to tell someone how to live.

As Soon as you walk in you are hit with a heavy heavy cigarette Smoke smell.. pretty much wanted to puke. The Place Did Not Look Like The Photo Above.. It Was Dark an Dingy in There. Went in With a simple Tattoo in Mind Asked For Some Creative Input All the Man Wanted to do Was Scale it Down said it was good.. but it was a amiture drawing that needed somework he thought it was just fine.. pure lazy Ness .. Also There was A UNDER AGE KID..Behind The Counter... what was it being your child to work day... will not be getting work done there.. do not recommend this place unless you wanna catch something.. Just saying Dont Seem that Great!!

Came to see Adam because of a referal from a friend to do some touch up on a faded tattoo that I had. After seeing the quality of his work and his professionalism, I have had him sleeve my whole right arm and have the design done for my whole left arm. My fiancé had Adam give her her first tat and will be having him do more work. I have referred numerous friends and acquaintances to Adam without hesitation. I get nothing but compliments on the work hes done. Adam will continue to do my work for as long as hes tattooing. Nothing but the best.

Great guy. Great shop. Great artist. Amazingly Nguyen soft hands with crisp clean and precise lines. Have had my last two done by him one of which he completely free handed. All pre packaged needles and sealed tunes. Opened right there in front of you. Sorry of the girl below didnt see it. Must have been to busy with her stupid social media and selfish like 99 percent of 19 year Olds.

Great custom work, and Adam works with you to turn that idea in your head into a true work of art. The cleanest lines around. Electric Elephant is the place Ill be heading back to when Im ready for more.

I went to Adam last year to have him draw up a tattoo for my shoulder with a hibiscus flower and my children names. I have never been so happy with his work and will be going back to get another name and another tattoo. He is a great artist and reasonably priced.
