Ive visited LUSH a handful of times but never bought anything until a few days ago. I walked inside looking for a product to promote (faster) hair growth. Having only browsed before, I didnt know that they had take home samples available, so I went ahead and made an impulse purchase. I bought ROOTS after the employee told me she uses this product religiously and her hair has grown 3 inches over the last 2 months. I took the product home, and was very excited to give it a try! I loved the smell, and tingly sensation brought on by the mint! I followed the treatment with my usual shampoo and conditioner, then sprayed in my leave in conditioner. When my hair was dried, it felt brittle and frizzy. My hair usually feels soft and smooth after it dries, so I checked the ingredients.. (which I admit, I neglected to do so in the store, I had assumed LUSH products would be sulfate-free) and the product contains sulfates and alcohol. Both are known to dry out hair and scalp!! So, I went in to return the product and THIS is the part that left me feeling upset. The manager was very condescending to me when I told her I didnt like sulfates in my hair products, and she told me that "my hair isnt really clean" if Im using sulfate and urged me to make an exchange after saying that all of the hair products contain sulfate. I didnt argue, I just reaffirmed that I wanted a refund. My HAIR DRESSER is the one who encourages me to stay away from products containing sulfate, so Ive been using the shampoo & conditioner from GNC that is sulfate free and infused with vitamins. Im pretty sure my hair dresser, who has an education about hair would know more than the retail store manager. I wont be in again., I would not recommend this place to a friend. I only gave this 2 stars instead of 1 because the first day i went in, the sales associate who recommended ROOTS was kind to me.

The team of people here are wonderful, fun, warm, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable about their product. In particular, I give a BIG thank you to Alex!!!! Hats off!! He was such a friendly and gregarious person! There was no denying his passion for both this product line and the ethics it stands for. Alex has a way of making you feel like a friend right away and shows honesty by looking you right in the eyes when speaking. I had a lovely time chatting it up with him while he showed me product that would make my sensitive Irish skin glow! Thank you, My Alex! I will be in again to see you!

I love this Lush location. I do not like being bombarded by the employees and following me around. I am looking and I tell them nicely "I am just looking around." I love the Fizzbanger bath bomb. I also love Angels on Bare Skin scrub and 9 to 5 face lotion. I am disappointed that their prices are increasing. I used to get Roots for $19.99 now its like $23.99 Please Lush staff let us breathe when we look around. Please dont keep following me when I already say I am looking. It makes me uncomfortable
