On Wednesday March 18 I brought my 2007 Grand Prix in to acknowledge the recall notice I received, some time ago, regarding my vehicle. Jason was the representative I spoke to. At that time I also asked if he would check my battery. My car was due for an oil change and, because of the distance I live from your dealership and inclement weather conditions at the time, I took my car to have the oil changed at a service center close to home. At that time they told me I should have my battery replaced. Although I havent had any problems with the car starting, etc. it is the original battery. I asked Jason if he would have service check the battery. He verified that a replacement was needed and I agreed with his recommendation. Upon entering my car to return home I noticed that the info screen showed the date as January 200? and the tire pressure read 128 for all 4 tires. I went back into the building, advised Jason of the issue; he checked the vehicle. Evidently the service department neglected to reset the information panel once the new battery was installed. Jason corrected the situation, including having the correct tire pressure in the tires. Jason is awesome -- professional, personable and was quite attentive to the situation. I have had no problems with your other representatives but Jason is definitely the person I feel most comfortable with. My car is quickly approaching 100,000 miles and he informed me that a tune-up, coolant check and transmission fluid be changed. The estimated price is something that I will have to save up for and made an appointment to have this maintenance, excluding the transmission fluid change, performed on April 8th. Ive purchased several vehicles from Jim Causley. Jack Shell is the sales person of choice for me. Money is always a factor and based on the quote/price of a vehicle I become interested in I will most likely continue to do business with Jim Causley. Sincerely Barbara A Marsack

It was a while ago, but none the less... Collision damage repaired at the Jim Causley body shop started to rust badly. Worked through the chain of command, did not receive satisfaction. Met with Jim Causley himself. Explained the problem to him. He asked "What about all the road salt??" I told him that the rest of the car is fine, only the repaired area is rusting like crazy. Jim Causley said that it was "repaired by human hands". True, but I really feel that the work was not done properly and not prepped right before painting. Also the hole big enough to see light through where two panels join together is outright shoddy workmanship. After it became obvious Jim Causley would not help me, I left in a huff and "chirped" my tires upon exciting the service area. Fast forward a year later when I took my car in for a recall notice I received in the mail. Entered the garage, checked in with service, presented the recall letter and then took a seat in the waiting area. While waiting, I noticed several Clinton Twp police officers arrive. Then several officers approached me and said that they need to search my vehicle for weapons. It turns out the dealership felt I was a threat because I left in a huff last time I was there. My chirping of the tires was reported to police as squealing the tires from the service bay all the way through the parking lot until it ends at the side street ( car had a 2.8 liter engine by the way, not nearly enough power to screech the tires all the way across the parking lot). Anyway police searched my car, no weapons found. (Seems like Jim Causley is a bit paranoid, I would be too if I treated customers like that). Anyway the police told me Jim Causley does not want me back at that dealership, and I have not been back since. I am writing this review to let other people know how I was treated when I attempted to ask them to repair their shoddy body work.

Insulting! I had been working with the used car sales side of Jim Causley for about a week or so. I was very interested in a used GMC Sierra that was on the lot. After not getting the price where I liked it I decided that I would move on and wait for a better deal. Just prior to Memorial Day weekend I received the Jim Causley flyer in the mail. The General Manager Mike Elliot left a note inside asking me to see him personally for a “great deal”. When I stopped by to see him I explained how I was interested in the Sierra on the used car lot. I stated that I had entered my trade-in vehicle information on their website and was being offered several thousand dollars less for it. Mike said, “Well, it has an aftermarket sunroof.” I assured him that it was not and that I bought the truck with it and that it’s a GM installed sunroof. I even explained that the user manual for the vehicle explains the operation of the sunroof. Mike did not believe me. I then told him the Sierra I was interested in had a sunroof and would like for them to bring the price down. Mike laughed and said that would not happen. I asked Mike what they paid for the Sierra on trade-in and he said, “I have no way of knowing that.” What a waste of time!!! You would think the Sales Manager asking you to see him personally would mean good things. I’d also like to mention that the flyer I received in the mail stated it was a Military Appreciation event. I am in the military and I assure you that there was ZERO appreciation received from this dealership.

I went there to Jim Causely Buick GMC dealer, their location in Clinton Twp last week to buy an SUV I saw on Auto Trader web site, first of all I called their used cars department and I spoke to a guy his name was Kelvin, I called about an SUV Hyundai, Santa Fe, when I spoke to Kelvin I told him I am interested in the Santa Fe, I repeated the make of the SUV 5 time and Kelvin kept raying "oh you like the Sonoma", I kept repeting NO NO I said the Hyundai Santa Fe, after that he said he will check and get back with me within 15 minutes, but he never called me back, after two hours I called him back to ask him again and he said he was busy with other customers and he told me that the price of this SUV is firm, he sounded like they do not care reallly for their customers, any way I went there to chech out that SUV, really was very nice and very clean, I was very interested to purchase it, I had the cash in my pocket but, here is what happened: I was there me and my wife for almost 25 minutes in their used cars lot and no one came out to ask us if we do need any help or if we have any questions, there were no other customers in the lot but us, I saw over 4-5 salesmen just looking at us and no one showed any attention or respect, so up on that we decided to leave and not to purchase from this bad dealership, they do not care for their customers and they have no respect and their management is the worst.
