OH my god. this is heaven for donut lovers! The staff there is super friendly, efficient, and they work their butts off from open til close. Im always greated with a smile and I love that they try different ideas for dounts....like some of my favourits, pumpkin cake, lemon poppy seed, and samoa. They also have cookies, choc chip and oatmeal (the oatmeal are to die for) Someone commented on their awesome apple fritters....and they were right. Apple fritters are best Ive ever had! HEck, this is the best donut shop Ive ever been to. Coffee is delish and will get you going in a matter of seconds. : ) One complain I have is that the small bottles of milk are over $2....way too much to pay for small bottle of milk (I still do buy them when in a pinch) I love that I live close to this place and plan on going there for many years to come.

Most of all locals already know about Donut Cutter and that it was voted best donut. Next thing to do then with eating this best donut is to arrive right when they open at 4am. Im the type of person who stays up late. So Ill just come by with tons of munchies at this hour. That being said, the donuts are made fresh daily and are coming out hot at this hour. So I enjoy taking a seat at the counter, relaxing and enjoying a variety of donuts. Each tray comes out the oven at different times with steaming hot donuts. Bring cash an appetite and dont forget to tip. Seriously, a super hot fresh donut watching the sugar melt can change your world, or even when it burns the top of your mouth. It did for my fat belly. Who knows? Thanks Donut Cutter for filling my crazy belly up.

i dont normally leave reviews, but when i do...i recommend Donut Cutter. the apple fritter is the absolute best ive ever had. my wife loves them and she doesnt even like apples! the cinnamon roll is great & the one time that i was lucky enough to buy one when it was still hot? it truly melted in my mouth. i swear, a tear came to my eye. the service is ALWAYS stellar and its well worth the journey from wherever you are in the Metro area. remember to bring your cash!

Time at The Donut Pastry Cutters Donut Pastries was incredible. The pastries are shaped into a delectable torus called a Donut. The donuts available in this location are glistening and pristine. There is truly no better Donut Pastry than the one at Donut Cutters Donut Pastries. The vibrations induced in this location are that of a small town, with a fresh cup of delicious coffee to top it off. Interacting with the people in this bakery is the best experience.

Best long john buttercreams ever! I used to live in the area and stop by on my way to work. When I was pregnant with my son i would schedule my appointments for my ob early just to go. My mom used to bring them home for me... Havent found a better donut shop! And i live a half hour away but I still stop in when i can. Seriously try it!

Nice place. Only issue is that they are cash only. But the donuts are very good. Also there hours are a bit dubious. Google says they stay open til about 2, but I stopped by at areound noon one day and they were closed. Its really a place that stays open til they sellout. So call ahead if you plan to go there a bit later in the day.

I was in the area and had 15 minutes to kill and really wanted a good donut. I drove down Woodward looking for a local place and came across this amazing place. They recommended the apple fritter and Im so glad I listened. It was the best pastry Ive had in my life. Definitely will stop by again whenever Im out here.

Best doughnut (or donut in this case) in Detroit. Their cake doughnuts are moist and dense and their long johns are light and perfectly filled (not lacking filling and not swimming in it). Also, if you care about yourself at all - grab an apple fritter as a personal bonus (youre welcome). donut forget - CASH ONLY

Visiting from out of town and chose here because it was open in Memorial Day and close. Wow, what a lucky find! Probably the best Apple Fritter I have ever eaten in my life. Everyone else raved about their selections, too. Wish I had donuts this good in my hometown.

Prices are a little higher than your average place but the donuts are way better. Quite amazing brought them to a work event and everyone loved them. The breakfast cereal Donuts, long johns and apple fritters were the favorites.

Family owned. Community centric. Owners now greet us and other patrons by name. Donuts are delicious and inexpensive. Very popular place. Sometimes sell out of types of donuts by later morning or early afternoon. Great place!

Great place. The oatmeal raisin cookies are THEEEE BEST. The apple fritters are also amazing. Never had one like it anywhere else on earth. Awesome place.
