Im new to this area and am in the market for some used parts for a project car Im working on. I figured Id do a little online searching to see whats around for junkyards and stumbled across this. Wow. Ive never seen comments like this for any business - based on the reviews here and the responses from staff (including a "Vice President" who cant spell correctly) Im not going to waste my time going here. And who really cares about the BBB anyway? Where do they even get their funding? Theyre a joke anyway - you can get far more accurate and relevant reviews by just going online these days (this site, Yelp, many others). Nobody bothers to complain to the BBB anymore so simply saying you dont have any complaints with them is like saying Person X must be a great guy simply because theyve never been convicted of murder. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Ill buy new - or search online. Its a bit more expensive but if it saves me a bunch of drama and BS dealing with a bunch of angry, miserable townies who have nothing going for them in life, I guess its worth it. Im glad I checked online first.

Asked for a center seat for a Lincoln town car and I was laughed and they said that such a thing doesnt exist although I explained that there is several in Sams Pull-Apart across the street, I just didnt want to deal with pulling one myself. a few days later the Alternator blew in my 2008 crown victoria police interceptor, they said that I needed to come in to pay for the part before they would pull it. when I came in they said they had the correct part (after stating that it was a police interceptor). a few hours later they called and said they had the part ready for pickup, unfortunately they pulled the wrong part that wasnt even out of the same car. I requested my money back and after giving my a hard time for not stating it was a police interceptor (I talked to 3 different people and said the exact model) they refunded my money. There prices are fair but I cant recommend them to anyone because they treated me like I didnt know anything about the car I was fixing and insisted that a 130 amp alternator is a suitable replacement to a 200 amp with a completely different plug on it.

They took my money but still no parts... Went in on Monday for a couple interior pieces. Said they were too busy to get them today which i told them i was fine with and that I could get back in on Saturday to pick them up. I paid for the parts and left. It is now Saturday, I called and asked if my parts were available for pick up, I was told they were. Went in and talked with Dick. He said he had no idea where the parts were and wasnt going to try to locate them and to come back another time when the person that I paid for the parts was here. Very frustrating that he didnt even turn around to look and made it seem as if there is no system to locate parts. No respect for my time to have to come in 3 times in order to get my parts. All in all very dissatisfied. Will post again if I never actually get the parts.

Went to have a set of tires put on as soon as i got there and he found out I had 18 inch rims (that most trucks have)he walked around the Bay talking to himself saying i wont do that over and over. Then he told me to pull my truck into the Bay looked at the tires i had and said i cant put those on theres not enough tread but there were marks on the tires werent even touched yet needless to say i bought tires there with alot less treads in the past. He just wasted a hour of my time because he wasnt gonna do them even if they were brand new. This would have never of happened if Sonny was still there. Its just a shame they hire lazy under qualified employees this will be my last time there and i was a regular in the past.

I did not visit the store but I called to ask a question. The gentleman I spoke with was clear and direct and answered my questions. He told me that he would not reccomend me buying the part they had and offered some suggestions on alternatives. I am not sure about the negative reviews. In the end, compared to other salvage yards, this place has a good website. I normally dont write reviews, but I thought I would provide some input after reading the back and forth in other reviews. I suggest people call and ask questions on prices/availability before going in. Im glad I did. It seems like it would save a lot of headaches.

Isabel - September , 2011, Guys thanks very much again, every time I visit you to get parts for my van, I find you in a good mood. I visited you again for something else and you did not have it, but your great employees called another place, found my part, gave directions to get there, and guess what when I arrive at the place they already knew my name and my part was right there on top of the counter. Thanks John, Steve and all the other guys working there, I will always come back to your store. Thanks to all of you. I am super dupper satisfied. See you soon, I need another part, I will go there to see you all again soon.

First of all your name is not Linda Smith- its Serhane Kajitazi and you got a great deal on the-2009 VW Jetta with a bumper to bumper warranty -but you must make an ATTEMPT TO RESPONSIBLY MAINTAIN***We replaced the transmission once already-but after the second snow storm ..no way- We as a company can only take so much abuse. There isnt a dealership around who would of done what we did . It is not a Sherman Tank. Oh and Jim called you today, your wheel is in. Our guys work six days a week and they are not lazy! Even after all this, we will still take your car in trade for another one!

AWESOME! This yard did not have a good reputation in the past but wow have they turned things around. Everyone is really polite and really helpful especially if you can pull the part yourself they will try their best to give you a REALLY REALLY good deal. Last time one of the guys at the counter even offered me a ride so I wouldnt have to carry all my stuff back in. DONT go to sams up the hill.. everytime Ive been there they are really disrespectful and even the people at the counter dont know their own prices.

Poor customer service - even for a junkyard. I was unable to get a sentence in before being transferred. After waiting on hold, I was transferred to an impatient guy in the "tire department" who cut me off repeatedly as I tried to explain what I needed. I hung up disgusted. I dont expect great customer service on the phone from a salvage yard, but these guys are ridiculous. They are the only outfit in New England that has the part I need, but I still will not give them the business.
