Poor service after the sale. I bought a brand new pair of skis from Country Ski & Sport in January. After only two days of skiing, a crack appeared on the bottom of one ski near the tip. Country Ski & Sport said the problem was a manufacturing defect and returned them to Atomic. At the time of the return we were planning a 5 day ski trip starting two weeks later. The salesman assured us that if for some reason replacement skis werent delivered to the store in time for our trip, they would hook us up with rentals. Fast forward two weeks and three phone calls that Country Ski & Sport never returned, the replacement skis arent in and they took back what they said about the rentals. They said theyre out of rentals because theyre so busy. They could bring some in from another store sometime on the day we were going to leave, but it will cost us. The manager complained that we had waited until the last minute, but we had the entire conversation two weeks in advance of our trip and our three phone calls in the interim to check on the status of the skis were never responded to. So now my options are to delay our trip and pay to rent skis from the store I just paid nearly $500 to buy skis from six weeks ago or to rent skis at the mountain. Bottom line is that I wouldnt recommend this shop. Other shops in the area support their customers and the products they sell better.

Ive shopped here twice and loved each visit. I bought goggles and a helmet the first time and a pair of ski boots the second. The staff are very helpful and knowledgable. They took the time to explain each product and what the pros/cons were. They never tried to sell me the most expensive item. I am thrilled with my purchases and the level of service I received. The first time I went in the shop it got busy, but they made sure each customer got their questions answered and help finding products without ignoring anyone. Ill be going back to buy skis in the Spring. I highly recommend stopping here for your ski and snowboard needs.

Ive bought 4 separate sets of skis/boots/bindings and poles from Country Ski and each time Ive been really happy with the choice I made. Everyone Ive talked to to knows a lot about skiing, and they also seem to have the widest selection of skis anywhere in the greater Boston area for both all mountain AND powder skis, which isnt all that common in the northeast. I dont often give a 5 star review, but this is well deserved.

I did not even know this place existed, I was driving by and decided to go in and see if they had any good late season deals on skis. I walked out with a pair of skis for myself and a bike for my wife. I felt at home right away, the service was awesome. Check this shop out!
