The merchandise assortment is targeted a little more towards what college kids would wear around campus rather than on the more outdoorsy gear, but given the location you kinda have to expect that. But no worries - the friendly staff is always happy to help you order what youre looking for and have it shipped to the store in a couple days.

I sort of expected that a specialty store would have a better answer to the question of finding a coat in my wifes size than just handing us a catalog. That, and the huge number of frankly ugly coats that look like they were made in the 70s made this a disappointment. I guess Ill stick with Columbia.

To be honest, I was expecting a less-than-helpful experience while trying to find a last minute pair of gloves. The staff were helpful and polite -- despite not having the gloves I liked in my size -- and Id go back here first despite the several other options within a block.

It is winter in Boston which means it is time to get out the coats and jackets. There is no better place to get your winter gear than The North Face. Their latest collection is classy, comfortable, durable for the Boston weather, but might burn a hole in your pocket.

This is a nice little store with two floors and has everything that youll need. I went during black friday so it was pretty busy, but the staff was friendly, energetic, and helpful. I got a hoodie that I really liked at a great price so I was extremely happy.

Bit impressed with assortment, but the staff is great. Even if the needed item is not around, they will do their best to research with you what you need and shop or to you asap.

Great staff. The atmosphere is very young and energetic. The goods range from highly technical to very fashionable, and at prices that arent too outrageous for outdoor gear.

Some regular stores carry a larger selection of north face backpack than this store does, they have just 2 or 3 models of the large selection that the brand had
