If you like the feel of merino wool against your skin, this is a place to come to. Their clothing changes year to year but several standbys are always there, including the Shak and Nelson lines. Clothing fits well to athletic builds, which is key. Clothing tends to straddle the line between outdoorsy and classy, which is perfect for the urban lumberjack look. Its expensive, but some good deals can be found during sales.

I have now quite a collection of clothes from Ibex, and I find the quality excellent -- much better materials and construction than Eileen Fisher, although I do like and buy her things often. The styles are also classic and practical, and they are both warm and light. I go in often to check out the bargain table, as the sale items are a particularly fine investment.

I love their stuff - great quality and responsible sourcing and manufacturing. Best exercise, outdoor, and casual clothes you can buy. I wear merino wool year round. The staff is friendly, and when Ive run into issues with shrinkage or damage, they have replaced the items no questions asked.

Its a little expensive, but worth it. Most of the stuff is made in the USA and its more unique than the standard north face/Patagonia stuff you get in other stores.
