I recently moved here and sent a "thank you" arrangement to my landlord and his wife. My total with tax and delivery was about $50. They LOVED THE FLORAL ARRANGEMENT!!! I have since purchased flowers twice and was equally satisfied. Please Dont blame Frugal for the ugly and secretive wire service practices of internet "florists". I was a florist in Connecticut for nearly 10 years, so i know of the business practices of tele/web-based companies like 1800flowers and FTD... which is why we never used them. They take out a large "service fee" (at least $15 from the order) simply for taking an order and wiring it to another florist. Should the arrangement seem smaller, it is because the florist that receives the order is getting only some of what the customer pays.... and then when they take out their delivery fee (drivers need to get paid too) the customer is left with a less-expensive version of what they chose to order. DO NOT BLAME THE FLORIST- they usually end up loosing money on orders and always have to deal with the unsatisfied customer, as the large tela/web-based companies dont feel they are accountable SAVE MONEY AND ORDER DIRECTLY FROM YOUR FLORIST, YOU WONT END UP PAYING ALL THOSE SERVICE FEES. plus you can tell them what you want and they can tell you what they have. FTD, Teleflora, 800Flowers were all necessary before internet.... go to the florists website/ call direct!

Allison and Frugal Flower were amazing. I interviewed several florists but Allison really took the time to understand my vision and helped me figure out what I wanted to and the reality better than I could have imagined. I chose to do blue, white and yellow flowers and Allison was able to make a centerpiece for my bridal shower so I could see what it would look like! Our guests were so impressed with how beautiful everything turned out especially the escort card table (we rented glass globe vases from Allison.) They decorated the pergola beautifully as a chuppah and it was so comforting to know that they had a portable one they could use if the weather forced us inside. Thank you Allison! We would recommend them to anyone needing beautiful flowers for any occasion!

I recently used the Frugal Flowers for my wedding flowers. I truly could not be more happy with the experience! The staff was professional and comfortable! I had a truly "hazy Idea" of what I wanted when I came in for my first wedding meeting and their wedding planner Allison took my ideas and made it more beautiful then I couldve ever believed! Allison and her wedding staff made the flower picking experience truly wonderful! The day of the wedding I had nothing to worry about and was more than confident and her amazing abilities! She put everything together and truly wowed me with her skills. If you were looking for a professional and wonderful experience I would highly recommend using the Frugal Flower!

I was lucky to get a recommendation to use The Frugal Flower from the venue where my wedding took place. The centerpieces that were included in the package were gorgeous. I was extremely impressed by how accurate they were per my suggested description. I ordered additional flowers (bouquets and boutonnières) and I was extremely happy with the result. I appreciated that Allison was responsive and available for questions and she was punctual to send an estimate and adjust it to my limited budget. They were also extremely flexible when we asked to deliver our flowers earlier and in time for our photos. I would definitely recommend The Frugal Flower to my friends and family for future events.

We could not have been more pleased with Allison and her work! We met with her briefly and discussed what we were looking for and she took it from there. Allison has an excellent understanding of how to incorporate a clients wishes into unique and beautiful art and we were overwhelmed by the product we received. I have worked in florist shops for a number of years and participated in a few design competitions; Allison has an exceptional knowledge of the field and her prices were more than reasonable. I would give this florist 10 stars! They created a Scottish theme for my moms 80th birthday at the Wayside Inn Restaurant. Used actual Scottish thistle and heather in centerpieces and mantle decorations.. Tied each napkin with floral and ribbon.. Used tartan scarves as table runners and draped moms chair in same tartan material. The room was gorgeous! Customer service efficient and costs affordable.. Will definitely call them again

I used Frugal Flower for my daughters wedding and HIGHLY recommend them. Allison is a pleasure to work with. She understood exactly what we were looking for and created the perfect bouquets and arrangements. Many guests remarked on the flowers, several saying they had never seen any so lovely. Allison also was helpful in suggesting ways to repurpose flowers from the ceremony at the reception. All in all, a wonderful experience!

They were uniquely EXCEPTIONAL!! I needed help placing my flower order. I have no experience doing it. The customer service was excellent. She guided me through my order and ended up getting this spectacular vase arrangement of exotic orchids. Very reasonably priced too! Ever since, I have been telling everyone I can to get all your flowers at The Frugal Flower!!

I not only needed same day delivery but requested delivery in a few hours. Even thought the delivery driver had already left to service the area I lived in, they made an exception and sent him out to my area again. The flowers were delivered in less than 1 hour. Thanks for the special attention and from what I hear, beautiful flowers.

Received Horrible dead flowers a day after Valentines day, in 2011. Didnt get new flowers until 2 days after Valentines day. And the same distributor went with them again this year 2012 and they didnt even bother to deliver anything! Im disgusted, they ruined my Valentines day which is my anniversary! My boyfriend is upset! Rip off!
