Called this morning see if they had Nintendo Switch Neon color, and they said they had it in store. Got off work early in the afternoon and drove to this store trying to buy one for my brother. Two sales ladies were in the store. First they asked me if I needed a combo. I told them a console would be fine, since I already got the case and screen protector from BestBuy. They seemed unhappy after I said that. Then I was asked if I needed any game? I got three games already including Splatoon 2, Arms, and Mario Kart 8. So I didnt offer to buy any. Then one of the sales ladies scanned the Switch and added a warranty of $49.99. I said I dont want the warranty, coz its expensive compared to the price of the bare machine ($299.99). She said she had to make it mandatory because her manager told them to. That way they might discourage scalpers. Well first of all, I am not a scalper. Plus the way they were doing was really humiliating, since if you didnt buy it with the ridiculously expensive warranty, they would consider you as a scalper. I have been buying from GameStop all these years for game consoles (xbox, ps, etc) and games, and I never saw a store like this, forcing people to buy warranty. By doing that as a reputable game product seller, it is very disgraceful and they should be ashamed of themselves. PS: I went to another GameStop store 10 miles away thereafter, and there was no issue at all. They didnt force me to buy any warranty. So something is not right for this Stoneham store.

This place typically does a great job at having what you need in stock. The staff are knowledgeable friendly and informed. Ive seen them go above and beyond for customers. However I cant stand the the one guy that wears sunglasses all the time. His smarmy attitude and less-than helpful demeanor has meant Ive started purchasing all my stuff elsewhere.

This is a small. Very friendly place with a lot of good stuff. They always have whats new and are willing to help you find what you want. But if your looking for anything you think that they may not have call first, because they most likely wont have it, but will find it at another store and send you there.
