Im surprised at all the bad reviews! This CVS is always stocked with necessary items and the store is clean. Its true that often there is a line for pick-up at the pharmacy, but its a very short line and the staff works quickly and theyre nice. I miss Dana, the former pharmacist; she was more personable. If you want an in-depth consultation about a medication, I cant speak to that, but this pharmacist seems competent and efficient. General staff? They always ask if I need help. Check out is immediate or as many as 4 in a line; Ive never seen longer. Im asked if I found what I needed... invited to have a good rest of the day. I dont think theyre supposed to carry items to the car so Im not sure what more they could do. As far as the clientele. new condos are built all of the time and bring new people. We may not have lived in Southie our whole lives but we love it, too.

Too many mistakes by the new pharmacy staff. I purchased 2 glucose tablets on sale, buy one get the other one for 50% off. The manager got distracted buy another employer making a personal transaction . The manager came back and rang me up a total of 5 of the same item. I came back to take care of this discrepancy. Instead she charged me full price for all 5 of them 1.77 , .89 cents 50% off and only gave me back a dollar. Then Jackie had the nerve to look up info on me. Called my mother to accuse my brother of being mental and that my brother need physiological help when it was mark. What nerve. Doesnt this constitute as violation of h.I.p.a. defamation of character as well as poor service

I only deal with Rid Aid, we just had our medication diverted to cvs because food poison meds where expired, after arguing with pharmacist Dang about the wrong information, the girl at the counter was able to find the information, and had common sense and actually listened... they are very disorganized and lost the other gentlemans medication that was suppose to be done 45 minutes ago ... Im glad to go back to Rid Aid

Pretty much always the same deals here. Pringles, Combos, Vitamin Waters. This is somewhat of a tiny CVS compared to others in Boston. Also they do not have the self check out machines. So that ointment for your butt that you need, youll have get that through the cashier. The employees are extremely nice, always are welcoming and helpful. Great place to go yuppie watching in my opinion.

I moved to Boston about 4 yrs ago, and what started as the closest to me, became the best place to me. They knew me by name within weeks, theyre consistently friendly and helpful. Also, I treat them as well as they treat me. The key to being treated well

The other reviewer must be confused. There IS a CVS at this location. Its a fairly typical CVS, nothing particularly good or bad about it. Parking is limited, so you get a lot of people who double park out front which can be really annoying.

Not a bad pharmacy. Its a large store with lots of options. The pharmacy has never made a mistake with my prescription and they are very friendly.

Average CVS. Staff isnt terribly helpful, and generally some strange clientele there. But great in a pinch.
