Excellent service. Well informed, helpful, pleasant and well stocked, fun to visit and great to do business with! Everything you remember about "small hometown stores" still exists at Bay State Trading. Unfathomable that someone wrote a negative review based on the store owner being friendly!! If you want impersonal service, head for your nearest big box store. If want to have a nice "old time sporting goods store" experience with attentive staff, and an owner who goes out of his way to know his clientele, head for Bay State Trading! -Alan

Great gun shop! If the owner is BSn with someone when you go in, be patient, he will BS with you as long as it takes to answer your questions and help you with your purchase. Impressive thing is , the fist time I went, I was given the feeling I was a regular. Cannot say enough how Dave couples the old school friendliness and knowledge resulting in a satisfied customer. Bought three Henry rifles so far. Only negative I can think of is he wont get serious and part with one of his Winchesters...... Well, there is always next time.

I attended the training course offered, it was thorough, fact based, and also provided enough time to ask many questions. As far as prices, I have had the opportunity to shop at many stores over the years (New Hampshire, as well as Massachusetts), Bay State has very competitive prices, you will become a return shopper guaranteed.

Dave was Very attentive, knowledgable and friendly. I was very pleased with my buying experience they had a decent amount of handguns although I would of liked to see more variety. Would definitely recommend this place and will be going there again for sure!! Dave was awesome!!!

If you stop in, make sure there isnt someone hanging out as the owner is more interesed in BSing with them than helping a customer. Oh and if another customer walks in who the owner is fond of.. be prepared to be blown off. I would NEVER spend money here.

Just went in for the first time. The guy who owns it is a knowledgeable, friendly Marine veteran. Hes not a pushy sales men just out to make a buck. If you wanna buy rifle or hand gun. His is the place to go.
