I feel like when I talk about Ocean State Job Lot, most people have no idea what Im talking about. I grew up south of the city and we had one 10 min from my house. There isnt one good word to describe this store but I will try to describe in as few words as possible. Its like a 1/4 version size of BJs or Costco, without the membership or economy sized packages. You can basically get anything in here whether it be clothes, hardware supplies, lawn furniture, rugs, air mattresses, pet supplies, crock pots, cleaning supplies, and organic and specialized food products like quinoa or nuts. Prices are cheap, sales are often, and a great place to shop to stock a new apartment.

One my favorite stores around that has a lot of hidden things for great prices! Bought an electronic fly zapper for $5. Condiments are cheap here too.

Very Very barebones shopping experience. Most of the things on display are damaged or tampered with. It is a baby walmart or a super dollar store...
