The staff have mostly been outstanding! One young gentleman worked tirelessly behind the customer service desk, plus ran back and forth between registers to help solve a couple of issues. He also did it at closing. Self Checkout is annoying. 4 12-pks of Pepsi do Not fit easily onto the small bagging rack, then prompt too quickly w/bells ringing to remove items due to weight. Prompts too fast insist placement of item - Causes many problems when staff must intervene. Prices still much too high compared to Market Basket. What is up with changing the entire store, just when I was finally getting the geography?!

Its near asinine that this is the only store that does not open self check-out in the morning. Instead they have people waiting in one long line trying to get to work. You have two people working ONE LINE, and it takes one to work 6-8 self-checkout stations. Maybe the cashier manager can wake up a bit earlier like the rest of the working world? It really seems like they dont care about their morning customers at all. A big shame.

A rip-off as I expected. Had to stop. Only place around. I dont understand how people can shop at Stop & Shop on a consistent basis. For example, $9.99 for Starbucks 12 oz. ground coffee when everybody else is $7.99. $2.99 for a 2 pack of Bic lighters, everyone else $1.79. Its like that throughout the entire store. The only values of the Lost leaders they publish it there weekly flyers.

The redeeming qualities are the people and occasional deals. The produce is not good and the smell of their chickens cooking is unbearable. Their variety for produce is weak, with large displays of products that sell slow.

Super convenient for me because it really close to my house. Its a little on the expensive side like I would never full on go food shipping there I just go there to replenish what I already have or get pre-made food.

Too expensive! Food goes bad in a couple of days if not used. I have a stop&shop card,however I save money shopping at Market Basket. I only shop here when I am short on time, it is close by.

Good place, sometimes pricier than competitors, sometime cheaper, but quality relatively the same anywhere. The product selection is limited compared to Market Basket on Highland Ave.
