This store is completely overrated!!!!! I hate so much! When I walked in to one of the locations, there was a homeless man sitting by the red box. I asked the employee of the month, who was Shauna at the time, why there a homeless man. She said that he likes to sit there and scare the customers. I will NEVER go to Hannafords again!!!

I asked several different employees to help find an item, and I was sent in several different directions IF they had any idea what I was talking about. I spent 30 minutes trying to find this one item and finally had to give up and leave. Clearly the expansion of this store has confused the lot of them.

Three star because of the following. Since they have renovated, the isles are narrow and crowded with freestanding items. It will be hard maneuvering when bombarded with tourists. Ill shop late at night and avoid the weekend. Too bad. Before the renovation, I would give it five stars.

Customer service fail, I was refused alcohol for not being 21, despite showing a drivers licence, grey hair, wrinkles, and being accompanied by my wife and 3 children aged up to 12. I am 50 years old, visiting Maine for the first time. Not likely to return if this is typical.

They are doing a lot of remodels which is good. However...the place is always packed...which is also good...but that being said the wait in line is crazy...they need to expand the store or the check out isles.

Only game it town as far as York goes. So its a good place to shop if you need something and you cant travel to Portsmouth. But Id rather go down there where there are plenty of options and better prices.

They buy from the local farms whenever they can and they use sustainable fish practices that meets the top standards. Their pharmacy staff took care of my mom and me for YEARS. They are wonderful.

Literally went here for the stir fry bar, omg!!! Its AMAZING!!! Im totally in love with this, you pick your own veggies , your meat and your sauce and they grill it up for you while u watch!!! Yum

They really messed the store up with the remodel. They also stopped carrying many products many parts of the store are so tight one shopping cart cant pass another.

Got what we needed and the staff was friendly and helpful. Being from New Hampshire, I forgot about the bottle deposit that gets added to beverage purchases.

Prices are questionable. Example: bag of Hershey chocolate chips before remodel of store:. 2.39. Price after: 2.69. Price during tourist season 2.89.
