As the only grocery store nearby when I lived in this area of JP, I did shop at Harvest sometimes, but the selection was sometimes lacking and as it features mostly organic/natural (whatever that means) products, very expensive. I did appreciate they had Iggys bread and their produce was usually pretty fresh. I also appreciated the plentiful parking. Overall, not recommended for all your groceries unless it is in your budget to do so.

I love that I can buy the exact amount of cinnamon that I need--bulk spices are abundant. I also appreciate the organic bulk oatmeal. I love that we have a consumer coop in Boston. They support local food start ups like Alex hot sauce. The staff is friendly ---Harvest is a pleasant and purposeful shopping experience.

The only supermarket on the east coast that you can count on to be on your side. They should really push the bulk produce as I feel this is an area that they could separate themselves from the competition. And its better for the environment not using all those plastic bags

Great for stuff you never knew you needed. Lots of eco-friendly options (grain bar, etc) and healthy stuff. Their produce is almost always on the brink of rotting, so skip that. For packaged foods, go for it. Obviously very expensive, but comparable with other small co-ops.

Relatively small. Great selection of spices. Small produce and extremely small meat section. They also sell beer so thats cool. Our rewards card didnt work and we were unable to activate another one which was a little bit annoying they should work on that. Pretty pricey.

Clean and good selection, with some bonus local products (dairy, produce, beer, for example). The only thing that keeps me from shopping here regularly are the prices, which are often twice or three times that of Trader Joes....looking at you $5 pop chips.

Pretty cool place, its like trader Joes & Whole Foods love child. Not as big as a regular Whole Foods, but they have a great selection of random stuff. Employees seemed interested in our purchase too which is nice. Plus the got booze

The bulk bins have no rival in the city. They make any trip to Harvest worth it. The local eggs, chicken and dairy products are also a draw. Regular items can be overpriced, but theyre getting better about creating sale items.

Great for any last-minute ingredients or late night cravings. Great selection of regular and organic produce. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. Beer and wine selection is okay, but convenient given the area.

Nice location, close to Forest Hills. Wish it was a bit bigger, since JP is starved of decent supermarkets. The prices and selection are comparable to Whole Foods, some things a bit cheaper.
