So delicious! A destination site for vegans and omnivores alike. The coconut-based (and other bases) ice cream is simply better than the milk-based stuff. Texture and flavor are awesome. Wide selections of flavors including wonderful rotating options. Staff is always fun and friendly. Mini-tastes on little wooden spoons are happily doled out. My two favorites, so far, are the lavender and the matcha. Enjoy!

As the name suggests, FoMu (faux moo) specializes in non-dairy frozen treats. They have a nice selection of flavors made with coconut, almond, or soy milk. They also are less sweet and cloying than the non-dairy frozen desserts from the other well known JP ice cream purveyor. They also carry gluten free cookies. Mmm, mmm, good!

Ordered the Death by Chocolate ice cream cake for my sons 11th birthday. He was recently diagnosed with dairy allergy. The cake was amazing! Everyone at the party could not believe it was dairy-free. My son also loved the stick men zombies decoration on the cake. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Thank you FoMu!

Delicious fake ice cream! If I didnt know it was non-dairy I wouldnt have guessed it. The second time I went there I took a crowd of non-veggie people and they grumbled about not getting real ice cream and then changed their tunes when they actually got to eat it.

Some of the best "Ice Cream" Ive ever had, all without the cream (which makes it even better). The atmosphere is also great for a coffee/ice cream shop and they always have a selection of interesting pastries if youre in the mood for desert to be a little warmer.

Definitely on the pricier side, but the staff was very helpful in our desire to try most of the flavors, and the store was perfectly clean. My wife and I probably would agree this has been our favorite non-dairy ice cream shop in Boston.

I think they had great flavors but I didnt like many. Friendly staff let me taste many. I ended up buying avacado and classic vanilla flavor with hot chocolate fudge on top. All ice-cream are vegan, made based out of coconut milk.

Dairy-free ice cream is definitely a strange experience, but once you get used to the new texture, you appreciate the range of new flavor combinations that are possible with coconut milk. I especially like the cardamom pistachio.

Not sure how, but they are able to make great flavors without the dairy. Even non-vegans should stop in to try the avocado or other similarly yummy ice cream.
