Dr. Hatch is a wonderful pediatric ophthalmologist, however the staff is incredibly rude, disrespectful, and dare I say commits insurance fraud. My daughter had a routine apt there August 2016 (shes been seeing Dr. Hatch for about 10 years). We switched insurances to a high deductible plan where now we get billed for everything, and I received an enormous $ on the explanation of benefits for her annual routine eye check up. When I walked in to ask questions, the front desk gave me a slew of medical conditions my daughter supposedly had, including prescription mediation she was on - all of it completely false. I challenged them, they said theyd take care of it, and I NEVER received a bill. Now in April 2017 we called insurance to ask what came of the case and they have no record of it. Seems like the office made it simply "go away." Buyer beware. And if you go, demand a full report and double check with insurance - did they bill as routine care or a medical apt?

Decades with this practice and I am not going anywhere else!! Doctor Kaldawy is a wonderful physician and a phenomenal surgeon! The best hidden secret in Franklin! I am a retired optician and spent my entire professional life working with eye doctors. This is the center to go to. This is a medical eye care practice and provides the best eye care I have ever witnessed. In all my professional experience, I have never seen better eye exams performed and better surgical results produced. I take my elderly parents to this practice, my husband goes there and so do my kids. We have never seen such compassionate and skilled staff and doctor. We get checked by an optometrist or experienced technician first and then again, by the medical doctor...each time...which is rare these days. Yes, quality eye care takes time but you get what you wait for... This is my eye center for life!

I cannot understand how reception can be so rude. I was sitting in the waiting room and not only were they extremely loud, but they were talking about patients in such a volume that I knew basically all of their information. They were rude to my mother when she checked in with a snide comment, then continued to rant about how much work she had. I understand the stress of a job, however I find it very unprofessional that she put her stresses on a patient/customer. ALSO she was talking about another employee! Save that for the break room! My mother seemed fine with her experience, but I however am not okay with how said receptionist made the office feel. I would not come here for myself just from what I witnessed. Im absolutely horrified.

why work with small children if you dont have the patience or maturity level to interact with them. I took my daughter in after being sent over by our pediatrician, we waiting an hour past our appointment (in an empty office) to be seen. By this point my 3 year old was tired and very cranky. She started crying and kicking her legs when we finally went back for our appointment and the nurse looks at her and snaps "I can be mean too" Are you kidding me!!!!!! This child is 3 years old!! She cried her eyes out begging to leave the "scary mean mean doctor " never will I ever return to this place and I recommend to anyone reading this to find a different doctor

two hour wait every single time... not some of the time... every time!! recently got eye contacts and simply can not bring myself to go back due to the wait, completely unprofessional scheduling practices with a complete lack of consideration in regards to your time... too bad because the Dr. are good

You call this office 1 hour prior to closing time and you get the answering service. Two hours wait for Dr. Kaldawy only to have him not properly check you...in a rush and wont even listen to you. Office staff needs customer service training, urgently.

not happy with them. First, I waited 1 hr after my appt time to be seen. I Ended up ordering a pair of glasses, was told 7-10 days wait. I called after waiting 2 wks and was told the Dr was on vacation call back on Monday!!!!

This guy is the worst optician Ive ever delt with. The glasses were sub-par and over priced and I cant see at all. Dont go there!!!
