One good reason why; It is great to shop local! I have been a customer of Concord Optical in Concord since I began to need glasses, which sad to say has been many years. The last time I visited Concord Optical for new glasses, I purchased an expensive pair. I wore those for a few months but was unhappy with my selection (my own choice), so I returned to find a new pair. George, the owner and an optical specialist at Concord Optical, viewed my history and then looked around the store for a pair of glasses that I’d be happier wearing. “Yes!” I said when I tried them on. “This is what I want.” When I tried to pay full-price for them, George said “No! You’re a long time customer, and I want you to be happy with your glasses - we’ll figure a way to work this out.” There may be many large optical conglomerates in malls nearby, but there is only one George and his staff of professionals.

All the perks of a small independent shop. Great service at a fair price, and you can trust that theyre always going to take care of you and your glasses. Theyve always done their best by me, and Ive been getting glasses since they were at their first shop with the first George!
