The other day I went into the Danvers store and bought four, 40 lbs bags of salt. I asked someone working there to put them into my carriage for me as they are too heavy. When I got to the register, I asked the cashier if there was someone around who could help me get these in my car and I was told "no, we dont do that here". I am a 53" 102 lbs woman and I was wearing a wrist brace on my hand. Needless, to say, I was not happy. I asked to speak with a Manager and then I pulled out my credit card to pay for the salt and the cashier said to me that he didnt ring them in because he didnt think I wanted them since no one could get them into my car. I made it very clear, that I was purchasing the items and that someone would be putting them into my car. The Manager was paged; it went unanswered. Two woman working the self check-out line, came to my assistance. I think it is absurd that no one could help me. I must have walked by at least ten men walking the aisles working there and not one of them can help me with my purchase? I have recently bought a home that requires this salt in our filtration system. I will be purchasing salt at your facility quite frequently and I expect someone to assist me with my purchase despite my size and hurt arm.

This store (Peabody, Rt.1) is the worst of the bunch. Over the years it has always been staffed and run by morons. Idiots who dont know how to do basic things, like ring up the register properly, rude idiots, and incompetent management. Almost every time I go in there its an issue. The last time, I had a mfg. coupon for a free light bulb up to $5. Anyone with an IQ over 6 could read and understand it. Nope, not the peabrains in this Home Depot. The uneducated clerk actually tried to argue with me that the coupon meant it was buy one, get one. See, this is the problem, when the untrained imbeciles cant ring up a transaction properly, they make things up. Perhaps thats why theyre minimum wage retail morons. Avoid this one like the plague

I was just at Home Depot Saturday night 9 July 22nd Lowell in the hardware departments tell me again with the right drill bit 3 inch hole saw and the right thing to do the floor in my shed he is excellent I always go to him hes helped me for over 10 years and doesnt ask anything hes a carpenter and all around handyman himself so he knows his stuff great guy very considerate and nice gentleman and listens to your problems about anything carpentry a building cant say enough about level top notch very knowledgeable to help you with any problems you have in your house Lowell Lowell Lowell youre the best thank you Jim Moses

I have been shopping here for two years. Never liked the store because of the layout and selection. But the last couple of visits customer service has been lacking, staff has not been knowledgeable, and unwilling to assist. Will point you to the aisle, but they will not actually help you find the product you need or have any knowledge about the product. Nor will they help you find the department staff that can answer your questions.

I just bought a house down the street from this Home Depot so I have been in and out frequently. All items I have looked for have always been in stock. The employees are very customer oriented and are always offering to help. When I take them up on the offer they are highly knowledgeable and can even provided helpful tips to make my home projects even better. I highly recommend shopping at this Home Depot.

FWell organized and seems to always have what I need. Friendly employees. Not sure what the review from Karen is all about. Ive seen employees help load items. Maybe dont go shopping for something you cant put into a cart or your car. Im surprised you didnt complain that no one came back to your house to unload it and spread the salt.

Terrible store. The customer service here is the worst of the entire chain. The cashiers dont know how to do their job, the staff is rude and smarmy, and management is equally inept. If youre looking to waste your time and be treated poorly, this is the store for you. Ill shop elsewhere

Its a Home Depot. They seem to lack items I see in basically every other Home Depot Ive been to, though, which can end up being disappointing. Maybe check before you come to see if they have what youre looking for. No propane exchange.
