One of the absolute worst customer service experiences of my life!! My refrigerator broke down the day before Thanksgiving. I ordered a $1600 Whirlpool refrigerator online instead of buying from Lowes due to the faster delivery. Order was made November 26th with a scheduled delivery date of December 5th. I received the confirmation phone call two days before delivery date. My wife took the day off of work (lost wages) and rescheduled some other important tasks to be home for the 4 hour window of 1-5pm. Around noon, I received a nonchalant voicemail that the delivery would not be happening and they will have to reschedule for December 13th (8 days later, after already haven waited 9 days). Meanwhile my wife and 1 year old baby spent the entire time struggling to get through the week and strategizing best ways to preserve our food- using a cooler, eating out etc. I called Home Depots corporate office and spent over an hour on the phone with them. They assured me that a manager named Jim at the Avon store would be getting back to me by 7:00 pm to provide a loaner refrigerator. I waited until 7:00 pm and heard nothing from the store, as I anticipated. I drove to the store only to find out that Jim had already left for the day. I asked to speak to another manager and was introduced to Tammy - explaining my dilemma from the beginning. She had to basically pick up Jims slack. Tammy and I coordinated a 4 hour window (12:00pm -4:00pm) for the next day to have the fridge delivered. Sure enough 4:00 pm came and still no fridge. I was furious and called the store at 4:30 to find out that they were still in the process of preparing the delivery. They finally arrived a little after 5:00pm. The next morning, I realized that one of my solar path lights was knocked over and broken from the entrance they used to bring in the fridge. The stress that I dealt with, time spent, money lost, and overall experience has made me lose faith in doing any further business with this store!!! Hopefully I still get my fridge on time next week, but I have learned to lower my expectations with Home Depot.....

Their flooring department is absolutely incompetent! We try to do the 72 hour carpet install and 9 days later they are telling us it will be 2 more weeks because the carpet that was ordered is out of stock. When we ordered it we were very clear telling them we needed it installed ASAP and would pick whatever carpet that would make that happen. When they told us 2 weeks I called and asked for the store manager because the floorings manager was no help. After getting transferred 3 times to the wrong person and put on hold for a long time Shawn the assistant store manager picked up and put me on speaker phone, he didnt listen to me was defensive from the start, very rude and spoke in an unprofessional street slang. He said its our fault for picking and out of stock carpet. Yet during the 9 days we went there twice and called 3 times check on our order (that we paid for in full) and each time they said it was fine and an install appointment would be set, never once said the carpet was out of stock and we should pick something else. We will NEVER go back to Home Depot for anything we will be a Lowes or Ace shopper now! You should learn to hire better help and train them properly!

I called to see if they had a pack of screwed that they advertise on their website so I asked the associate if they had it in stock and her response was of course we have screwdrivers so I asked her again for the ones I was looking for and she told me to just drive out there and look for myself because it was too hard to understand that she should get off her butt and look like its not her job. I think its ridiculous and that there should be penalties for that and said of just a slap on the wrist. The Avon employees are lazy and arrogant I would never recommend this Home Depot to anybody until they get their act together

not good been here for some time and they cant locate the lumber department ppl and they finally paged them after 10 minutes went by. very poor costumer service plus one gentle man i asked said i cant help me so i said u cant do anything he said no i said u cant page or point me and the right direction his response was no im done with home Depot and just to let u know i wrote this well i was waiting an the lumber department. i rather do my business with Lowes

What a horrible company, the people working here are not properly trained and cant barely tell you where anything is, went to purchase a new lawn mower and end up leaving because the guy couldnt even tell me the difference between the two i was looking at, this is why i always stick to small home town businesses cant beat them, id highly recommend Canton Power Equipment i ended up purchasing my new mower there after the useless experience here.

Great Selection, but not all employees are very good. The manager at cabinets is one of the best I have met. Some people at the Pro Desk are very rude. Need major training, wish there were more like the manager that helps me Everytime I go there...

Rob in windows was very knowledgeable. He helped me order an odd sized window. He works on Wednesdays and weekends. When my order comes in I will be sure that he is working for further guidance on my DIY project.
