I came into the shop hoping to find a sweatshirt to take home to Mom, and was so turned off I walked out in less than two minutes. As I came in I was completely ignored by the only employee in the store who was diligently typing away at his computer while listening to very loud rock on the radio. I was intrigued by the variety of things (not so much the funny musty odor eeking from the room) so I made sure to walk all the way around the cramped space filled with boxes (of what looked like inventory that needed to put away...sleeves were poking out of a couple of them...why wasnt the employee at the front putting things away instead of chatting on his computer?) and when I got to the back I practically ran out. In the back there is a room that looks like storage with, literally, PILES of clothes on the FLOOR! Are you serious?! I mean I know some places are rough with their inventory but, come on! I ran to the COOP immediately without even a nod or a gesture from the guy up front. Definitely not my most pleasant memory of exploring Harvard Square....

This place cheated me and misled me. I thought the name of "The Harvard Shop" means that they are the official place to get the Harvard stuff. Yet, no, they cheated me. This is only a low quality, made-in-China, cheap place run by a bunch of unprofessional students. The real place is actually Harvard Coop. My goodness that they made my new year day, the first day of 2015 very bad. I will for sure take every effort to tell people how bad they are.

Great store, supports a student business! This place looks so nice and new now. definitely mustve been renovated. the student working there greeted me right away and helped me find the things I wanted. not as wide a selection since its a smaller store, but better pricing than The Coop!

If you want to see your stuff. Ordered online, shirts never came. Called and emailed for a week before even getting a response - a clueless student. Four weeks after the original order and after contacting a manager, they finally shipped the shirts. Definitely wont order here again.

Visited in June 2016. This student run shop was much less crowded than the others one in the city and the staff was helpful. Really nice place for present from Boston, I would definitely recommend it.
