The night manager here is certainly not someone who is family-friendly. My wife, I and our four children went to JC Penney is West Lebanon on August 12, 2015 to purchase sneakers for our oldest, who starts kindergarten in the fall. Our twins were walking around the shoe isle looking, but not taking any boxes off of the shelf, one was walking around with the box of shoes that we were going to purchase. At one point, the twins wanted to mimic their sister and took their sandals off to try on her sneakers. Once they were finished doing that I had one twin on my lap to help her with her sandals when Sandy came over a demanded that the children not play with the shoes, which they had not been doing anyways. She demanded that I remove my other twin from the shoe isle (who was trying to put on her sandals) while I still was helping the her sister. I cant help that the slobs of customers who were looking at shoes before us left an open box of shoes at the far end of the isle. Do not blame my children for a mess that they did not cause. We will not be spending any of our money there and we will be letting everyone that we can know about this incident.

First theres a horrible selection in the junior department. As I walked around I found shoes I needed to get in a deferent size. Sat there for thirty minutes and asked twice for someone to help. They called for someone and no one showed. The second time they had to look for the person. By the time they got there they told me I had to order online for a size. Of course. Im not an impatient person but this visit was annoying. As i sat in line to purchase my one shirt. Twenty people in line and two people working at a desk. As I handed my money they gave me my cash back and said have a good day. I politely asked for a bag and my receipt, and the cashier rudely said "Im getting it hold on!" Sorry but, the service was slow and not worth my visit back.

This review is for the JC Penney salon. My sister went in to get a hair cut and specifically asked for a trim so her hair would be a couple inches under her chin. Her hairdresser was Allie (unsure of spelling), and after spinning her chair away from the mirror Allie proceeded to cut my sisters hair two inches HIGHER than her chin. By the time my sister was spun back around it was too late. Allie never apologized, wouldnt give her a refund, and I personally spoke to her as well telling her the cut was not what my sister asked for. I would honestly take any business with you have with this salon elsewhere. One star is not low enough. *The Sephora I would rate a 5/5 though. Their customer service is remarkable*

I bought a coat online for my son and when it did not arrive I called the online service who only gave me the run a round and they would not refund my money. They said I would have to go to the store when it arrives and then do the return. They sent me an email survey to do and I completed it and was fair in my assessment of the whole experience and they wrote back saying they were not going to post it. It was a very PROFESSIONALLY written critique of my experience.I cannot and will not in good conscience do business with a company that "hides" reviews!!! Sham on you JCPenny, you just caused me to renew my Amazon prime membership!

Been going to JCP salon since I was 13. Now a week from my wedding and JCP cancels my appointment due to power loss (they knew the night before and didnt call customers, we found out when we got there and there was no power) and doesnt reschedule leaving for the following weekend as they said they would, leaving me unable to have anything done. Thank you guys for ruining a great customer relationship. Will no longer be returning to the salon. Extremely unsatisfied. Will not be recommending to anyone.

We went into JCPenney in W. Lebanon NH on August 12, 2015. My husband needed clothes for a wedding. We were waited on by a young female associate whose name I think was Dominique. She gave us the best service weve had anywhere ever. She was friendly, patient, very helpful and efficient and found us rewards that saved us a significant amount. I hope that this review will give her some recognition of some kind because she really deserves it.

Like shopping at Ross, but paying 5-10 times as much. Wrong hangers for sizes, nothing in order, its a nightmare. Theres no wonder why this place is struggling. Simple things like having decent air conditioning, having a sign that says "Checkout" so you can find the freaking checkout, and more than one employee on the floor – and put the clothes on the wrack with the right size marked on the hanger, and in the right order!

Mismarked sale signage, confusing/unmarked store layout that is always changing in weird ways, music so loud I have to yell to the person standing a few feet away from me, and some very poorly designed clothes. You have to HUNT to find the gems here. It feels a lot like thrift store shopping, but just in a bigger and mostly cleaner environment, and frankly, not as fun.

Love the Sephora in this store! I get lots of vegan friendly and cruelty free make up here. Just wish the employees were a little more accommodating because a lot of girls dont have a lot of knowledge on make up, especially for certain skin types and tones.

I am a law abiding citizen. I am a church goes and an advocte of doing what is right. I took 2 of my girls in to get mini makeover as well as myself and they had the nerve to accuse me of stealing a $20 makeup product. I will never shop here again.
