Accessibility - Selection - Staff - Etc Excellent store, very large and offers a wide variety of pet products including a range of foods from frozen to dry, clothing, toys, treats, travel and housing needs, as well as hygiene and grooming items. Perfect accessibility with automatic doors and wide aisles, easily accommodating wheelchairs and strollers. Staff are friendly and readily on hand every time, have gone above and beyond to offer customer service in the past for us. A selection of live animals is also on site that includes aquatic, rodent, reptile, amphibian, arachnoid, and avian. Call ahead to be sure of availability of live animals in particular as there are relatively frequently specific types out of stock.

Seconding the abusive fish tanks. The bettas were hardly well cared for as well. Tiny cups in the store for bettas are not really avoidable, but there were a few dead fish, and some laying on their sides that took prompting to return to normal swimming. In addition, there were several bettas stored in water with the wrong pH level (curled bottom front fins) that means they are in pain. Lastly, on a more personal note, I bought a betta fish there one month ago. It is doing fine now, but it apparently was subjected to harsh treatment there, as it appears to have had its tail cut somehow before I got it. Thankfully, the injury to his tail is superficial, and hes happily swimming around as I write this review.

I have been to a number of Petcos and other pet stores. First, I dont think this Petco is dirty. It smell like a pet store. I would rather smell animals than chemicals that may harm or poison any of these pets. If I start a conversation about my snakes with any of the staff helping me they always offer something that helps me care for my reptiles. Have always left there with a good feeling about this Petco.

Great place for fish. Ive been getting fish from here for two years and Peter is extremely knowledgeable. The fish are in relatively good condition and have not had problems with the fish from here. Petcos 2 week return policy is nice, as well as the occasional $1/gallon tank sale. You can make special orders of fish from their catalog too. Probably the closest youll get to an LFS in the Kendall area.

These folks have been nothing but helpful and friendly every time Ive gone in. Good selection, good hours. Bonus: theres a water fountain and bowls in the back for dogs on hot summer days. There are other, local businesses that Id rather frequent, but nice to have a stable corporate option as a backup.

Can be a bit pricey, but i buy crickets from here every other week and their mealworms are usually a good majority alive. Bougbt a leopard gecko here and shes grown up lovely. Note that they do keep their geckos on sand though. Not good especially for the younger geckos. Watch for bulgey stomachs.

Terrible place, do NOT get your dog groomed here. We have given this place a few chances now and will not be going back anymore. They always miss half of our dogs nails when trimming, do a hack job of a hair cut, and she always seems traumatized when she leaves there. Not clean or professional.

This place is disgusting! The shelves are disorderly, the floors are dirty and the fish tanks is borderline animal abuse. I counted at least 12 dead fish caught in 9 different tanks filters. And almost every tank had one or more fish infected with some kind of fungus! AVOID!!!

I have never had a problem with this Petco location. I like to go in and look at the selection of small animals and fish when I pass by. It has a good stock of bedding and cages and treats for small animals. I got a hamster here, and he is doing fine!

I love this petco! The animals looks healthy and happy. You can breathe a clean scented air so you can tell they clean behind them and so far all the animals Ive bought there are healthy and I can get everything they need there!

I always come here to get supplies for my dog, they providemany things here. I also get my dog vacinated here as well from Luv My Pet and the prices are reasonable. I recmomend people to come here to get there pets supplies.
