This is for the Grooming Salon. I use Banfield regularly and have good experiences there. My 13 pound orange cat is coming off of having a cone on for two months due to a skin infection on his chin. Due to the fact he has not been able to groom himself and has a lot of excess fur and smells bad, I wanted to have him professionally groomed. Since we use Banfield and like it, I popped in to the Grooming Salon and made an appointment. The only thing they had available was ten days out, which was frustrating, but I took it. Morning of the appointment arrives and I took my cat to the groomer with his proof of rabies vaccine paperwork. As Im about to hand him over the groomer (her name was Shannon) she informs me that she may not be able to bathe him if he "doesnt respond well". HES A CAT OF COURSE HE WONT LIKE THE WATER. I explained that I was turning to a professional groomer because I wanted him cleaned and that he had done okay with baths before at home. I wasnt going to not take the appointment at this point because both me and the cat desperately wanted the cone gone and she seemed to think hed be okay since he was bathed before. I left, went on my errands, and then received a call he was ready for pick up about 45 minutes after I dropped him off. However they explained that he didnt like the sound of the water and tried to escape so they did not bath him. Excuse me, what? Are you not a professional? Obviously cats do not like water, its the groomers job to deal with that! I was extremely frustrated at this point and let her know she needs to be more clear about the services offered at the time appointments are made. She also claimed my cat growled at her during his brushing, which I have never known him to do and then suggested I bath him myself. Bullshit. I should also mention the salon was empty except for another cat, but when I left my cat was stuck on the floor so the two groomers could continue painting a stuffed dog (what???). So this "grooming" service brushed my cat, cleaned his ears, and clipped his nails. Yet I got him home and he was still covered with hair and dandruff, his face was dirty, and only some nails were cut. I made an appointment with another groomer for tomorrow morning who told me he had never heard of a groomer not giving a cat a bath. Bottom line: This grooming salon is terrible for cats, and from what Ive read, dogs as well. I actually wouldnt be surprised if I found out they didnt do one thing to my cat. I wont be bringing him here again. The staff (specifically Shannon) was very unprofessional and shouldnt call themselves professional groomers. I consider this a complete waste of money. I never leave Yelp reviews but wanted to make sure no one else made the same mistake I did.

This is specifically for the grooming service and no the store itself and the only reason I gave 2 stars. This is a note I sent to customer service. Dog Grooming appointment for 7am 8/4/2017: Location: Everett, MA Store I just wanted to express my disappointment in this service. I booked an appointment last week, 7/26/2017, for my dog Beau who is a Spanish Water Dog that weighs about 50lbs. I was contacted late afternoon today, 8/3/2017 at 330pm for a rescheduling. This was due to the fact the groomer doesnt do big dogs. I have taken the day off for this appointment and now have to reschedule which is an inconvenience. I can understand this groomer doesnt work with the larger breeds, but that is something that should have been sorted out at the time of the online booking and not at the time of my appointment. Why didnt the grooming store shuffle my appointment? Why is that not a standard practice? Why does the online scheduler account for which groomers work on larger dogs? In my mind, its easy...add a question is your dog over a certain weight or size? Yes, it goes to one of these groomers, if not these groomers. A service is not a good service, especially when its not provided or provided well. What is ironic and more frustrating is that I received the confirmation email yesterday, 8/2/2017...and Petsmart mentions, While we allow appointment cancellations at any time without penalty, we respectfully request 48 hours notice. However, that same respect isnt practiced. I will be forward in saying the person on staff at the Everett store tried to accommodate me after expressing my dissatisfaction. But being told that you dont always see the online appointments is not really acceptable for me. It speaks volumes to the system you have in place. This is now the second occasion I have experienced an issue with this particular store. I have been a loyal patron for many years even still. I am not sure I can be any more.

I never seen such unhappy ppl in my life caring for our loved pets...if u all hate ur jobs that much especially ariana u should all find other jobs to do ...it pissess me off seeing scared dogs n a groomer blowing in my dogs face n one cursing at frustration...I love my dog I would bust u in the face if u did it again...management needs to pay more attention to all the groomers employed no dog or cat should be mistreated in the hands of ppl we trust to leave them alone with...I seen a dog terrified to even move when groomer disappeared in the back I work in medicine n frustration should NEVER BE SEEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took my dog yesrtarday to get a hair cut at 10:30 Am. I asked one of the employees there, what time my dog it was going to be ready?. She said around 3:30 pm, and I said to her what is the latest he can be there. She said 4:30 pm. I wasnt able to pick him up, so someone else did for me. The person got there before 4:30 pm and the employees there wore very rude to him, saying the he was there for too long and that they wore going to talk to me next time Ill come in. Well guess what PetSmart? there would be no next time to talk to me. These is just for the grooming salon.

Very disappointed in the PetSmart in Everett and the employees that work there. I called the PetSmart this morning to make sure I could bring my dog in for a nail trim tonight. The lady on the phone said, "bring him in anytime before 9, an appointment isnt necessary." I showed up with my dog at 8:27pm only to find that the "Grooming Team" had already gone home for the night. I asked the guy at the checkout line and he said "it wasnt busy so they left." Wow, such great service. I wont be returning.

Today at 8am I had a appointment for two of my cats to get shaved. Both kitties had mats, so this was a must! I cant tell u how happy I am with everthing thay did. Bubble was first. The grommer was so kind and sweet with her. There was NO RUSHING!!! And teddy was just as lucky! Teddy had been shaved before ( not here ). But this loin cut was the BEST! Both cats also got there nails done and ears cleaned aswell. I WILL BE BACK!!!!! By the way, both cats done in one hour!!!!!
