Where to begin on this one. I had lost my car a while ago and was in need of a new one, under a $10k price. I found a listing with Herb Chambers for an excellent looking 2005 Honda Accord Coupe in a 5 speed manual, just under $10k. I called up the dealership and scheduled a time to come and check it out, and followed through on that. I called and rescheduled to check it out earlier that week, and they assured me that they had the vehicle in stock. On that day when I called, I showed up to the dealership and went to see the car. SURPRISE! PLOT TWIST!! The car was sold the night before! What? And I wasnt told this when I called the day after? A car you said you guys had, has been sold? Thats a waste of anyones time! Their sales people are quite desperate. They tried to sell me on a 2000 Acura TL in a Automatic transmission, trying to convince me that a Triptronic transmission is the SAME THING as a manual transmission. If it aint got a clutch, then its no manual. I was hellbent on a manual because I like to drive a manual. Call me picky, but hell I know what I want. So they brought out another Accord, a 2008 sedan manual with leather. The inside was in great condition, but It looked beat up on the outside and the brakes/clutch were in horrible shape. The asking price was $10,500 for a car that was going to need maintenance. I asked if they could go $10k flat, and they declined the offer since it was a "Best price" or something similar to that. Interesting, especially since they failed to deliver on their word and wasted my time. If they settled on $10k right there, I would have struck a deal right there and then. I left and decided to find another car. After Im far off from Burlington, the salesman took me up on my offer for $10k flat, but by then it was too late and my mind made up. After that experience, I wasnt ready to hand them my money. Overall points: Unorganized service and relentless, unscrupulous salespeople. Look elsewhere if youre gonna take your time looking for a car, there are better places.

I dont like buying cars and I dont like getting them serviced, but this place takes the pain out of both experiences. I have been dealing with them for years and I always feel well treated. I bought two cars here. Their salesman arent pushy and make sure you are happy with your purchase. For example, I found a certified pre-owned vehicle that I really liked, but I was picky about little bits of wear and tear that I saw. I bought the car, and the salesman drove out to my wifes work picked the car up, fixed the problems (quite satisfactorily) and brought it back before she left work. I was impressed. You can also return vehicles if you dont like them. (I think you have 5 days for a refund, and a month for an exchange... something like that.) With the no-haggle pricing, they basically sell you the car for blue-book value. Thats a fair deal in my estimation. As for service, it might be cheaper to go to a local garage, but these guys do top notch work. I havent had many mechanical problems, but the ones that have popped up they fix correctly the first time, and they honor their price quotes. The last time I was there, they actually did something extra by accident; they could of tried charge me, but they didnt. It was free. The only issue Ive had with service is they can get really busy. I would drop off the car if you can; wait times can be pretty variable. We took advantage of their shuttle service last time and left the car for the day. That is easier. I should also mention that when you get any service they wash and vacuum your car for you---even just an oil change. When you consider that their oil changes are on the cheap side (20 -30 bucks depending on whether you buy a package deal or just one change), and that just a wash at the car wash is about 10 bucks, you actually come out ahead in my book. This guy Herb Chambers is successful for a reason: He figured out what people want in a car dealer/service center and gave it to them. Its that simple.

Tried to purchase a new Ridgeline from Herb Chambers. I found the internet sales team to be snarky, rude and unwilling to provide realistic pricing. Jillian is outright rude to customers. Worse than the rudeness is the lack of competitive pricing, Honda North of Danvers, Prime Honda of Boston, Atamain Honda and Honda Cars of Boston all were several thousand dollars cheaper and more than willing to provide best price over internet. When asked for best price Jillian provided a price that was close to MSRP, when asked if she could do better it was an argument. Finally Jillian provided invoice price for the vehicle and when asked if she could sell for that her answer was "no, we want a $1,000 over invoice" when asked what the $1,000 was for she stated "profit". So not only are the selling their cars above what everyone else is but they think they are entitled to $1,000 of my money for doing nothing. Unbelievably Herb Chambers of Seekonk had the same model Ridgeline advertised for invoice on their website, so same dealer but $1,000 less than what Herb Chambers of Burlington was offering! When I asked about the difference in pricing the Seekonk internet special was taken down within an hour. Literally they price fixed right in front of me, isnt that illegal? There is a reason they have more stock, its because their pricing is horrible. When a new Ridgeline came in at another of the dealers I mentioned above they gave me a price that was $5,000 less than MSRP after an email inquiry, no fighting, no arguing just a great price and I went down and made the deal. Oh and before I forget Jills boss Joe is just as bad in his customer service when I asked him about Jills unwillingness to deal and provide a reason to come to Herb Chambers he simply didnt reply. Herb Chambers clearly built a name for himself and now the chains think they can rest on those laurels... if they serve customers like this it wont be long that theyll get to rest.

went to Herb Chambers and bought a Mitsubishi Eclipse from Patrick Siske. Who I thought at the time was a very nice sales person.BOOOY was I in for a surprise. After I bought the car from the beginning I had nothing but problems. 3 of my tires blew within 1 week and I also found out that I needed a new catalytic converter which Herb Chamber Service had charged me $2000.00 for. Plus everytime I turned around I was back at Herbs to have them fix my car. This all happened within a 6month span. I was very upset, the more I called Patrick the less he wanted anything to do with me. So I realized I had been taken and sold a lemon and wanted to give the car back. I walked into Herb Chambers and demanded to speak with Patrick. After I told him how upset I was and I wanted him to tell me why he sold me that car he denied the car being a lemon and told me it was fine( OF COURSE HE WOULD ) i was an easy target. So we argued back and fourth because Herb Chambers is known for there EXCELLENT Customer Service....Oh and Yes, he argued with me in front of the ENTIRE dealership and I told him if he wasnt going to help me to get me the GM. So he did. I swear these people from Herb Chambers must come STRAIGHT from HELL!!! The General Manger and Patrick Siske sat down with me and talk about getting me another vehicle. Well, they had explained that Leasing a car would be better than buying a car ( NOOOOOOOOOOOOT ). They also told me that they would roll the Mitzubishi over and use it as money down on the vehicle that I would lease. That was a lie too. I could go on for days about how horrible of a place Herb Chambers is but there is not enough room.
