I went to Herb Chambers Kia of Burlington specifically because of the reviews on varied sites. It was my first car-buying experience and I was a little unsure of what to expect (vulture-like salesmen, pushing for a more expensive model, etc.) I experienced none of this here. Julian helped us this past Saturday. I walked in knowing what I wanted to look for after doing some research. Julian was very low key, right off, and he set me at ease. I told him I was hoping to look at the new Fortes. They had a fairly loaded LX in the showroom, nice gadgets and features, protective mats, cherry red color. I sat in it and puttered around with the trunk while Julian waited nearby, pointing out features as I came across them but not pushing me to look at anything specific. I then asked if I could see the EX and he brought that around. It was a pretty shimmery pearl white color. He showed us all the features in that car, back up camera, dash board touch screen, interior furnishings, he opened the hood so I could see a compact engine and he pointed out the fire protectant lining. Wed been there probably 20 minutes and then we were out test driving, first the EX, and then the LX. He took us on a nice route, back roads that looped us around the to the highway. The area was great for testing, enough stop lights to test the breaks, hills and turns, and an on ramp that goes right into an incline. I got a great feel for both engines and the handling of each car. He also pointed out the features of the dash while I was driving, so that my fiancé (who was in the front seat) could see them as well. When we returned from both outings, I asked the main differences between the EX and LX. He explained that the engine is a big difference, but that the two models I had seen were also a balance of feature packages vs. performance. I chose performance and within an hour or so of stopping in, I was at the desk starting the buying process. Even though it was a Saturday, Julian worked with his management team so that we could take the car home that day. He made sure to review the incentives they offered, honoring my fiancés military experience, and giving me a good price for my very old trade in. The financing part was fairly easy as well and they worked to benefit us as much as possible, and we appreciated that. While waiting for the financial bit to go through, Julian chatted with us about all sorts of things, where he was from, where we were from, traveling, driving up and down the coast, car shows. While it was a long day and we had to wait to have the car detailed, both Jeff and I were very, very happy when we left the lot with our new Kia. I traded in a 960 Volvo that my mom had given me when she graduated to a Mini convertible. My Volvo was the car I learned to drive in, I loved that car, and I have to admit, to my horror, that I got choked up when I was leaving with our beautiful new car. Sob stories aside, my experience with Julian and the staff at HCKB was excellent. If I decide to trade in my beautiful car (which I cant imagine doing right now) and if I want to stay with Kia, Ill go back. As far as this model Kia (2014 Forte EX), I have no complaints. It has excellent pep, great comfort, ease of use with the dashboard, I feel safe in it, and I love the little touches like the Bluetooth cell phone dialing from my steering wheel and my folding side mirrors. Sorry for this long book of a post, but I cant say enough about my car, or about the great people I bought it from. Thanks Julian!

We just bought a 2016 Sorento from the best salesman I have ever worked with Tom ODonnell. We came in to look at a 2013 used Sorento after having a 2015 CR-V. My wife has some back problems and Fibro Myalgia and the CR-V was just pounding her to death on the Beverly MA roads that she travels every day. We drove the 2013 but the numbers just didnt work out for us. Then Tom asked us what features were most important to us which was the heated seats and power adjustable drivers seat. He went outside to make sure he had in stock what we wanted and invited us to drive a brand new 2016 Sorento. If we liked it we could see if the numbers worked for us. Being a 10 year Chevy tech and a lifelong Chevy guy, I had my doubts about a "Kia". I was totally impressed with the comfort and ride quality of the vehicle. The motor runs smoother than any motor I have ever seen (4 cyl). It feels like they geared the tranny right too with a very low 1st gear to get you out of the hole. The 2013 was "OK" with the acceleration but the 2016 made HUGE improvements in that area and was excellent for a vehicle that size with a 4 banger in it. I am sold on Kia. Tom made the numbers work for us. He was very honest and up front with excellent knowledge of the brand and features. Normally buying a car is a long painful experience but it just was not the case with Tom at Kia of Burlington. Quick, easy, painless, got us out of our 3 year lease with the CR-V at 1 year in and made it all work. Herb Chambers should have Tom training all of his sales staff. Very professional experience and my wife is now over over the moon happy and makes her days alot easier with the comfort of the new Sorento.

Hello, So I went to KIA Burlington just to service my current leased vehicle that will be ending soon. However, I wanted to know my other options as my car was in service and was waiting around anyway. At this point I was introduced to Tom ODonnell. He was very soft spoken and had no "car salesman" attitude about him. He was just a friend helping another person out to ensure that I would make the best decision based on my own situation/life scenario. He did not once urge me to go a certain way, only answered every question I had. There was nothing "pushy" about him. He pulled up a few cars for me to look at even though he knew I probably was not going to purchase, just because he knew I had curiosity. Even though he knew he probably was not going to make a sale, He spent 2+ hours with me and answered every question I had and even talked some music with me! At no point did Tom try to sway me a specific way. He answered any questions I had without beating around the bush or giving me any unrealistic scenarios. He never tried to sell me on anything, just explained exactly how it was and the best price he could do for what I wanted and that was that. I did not end up re-leasing the optima he showed me, but changed in no way at the end of our conversation and I ended up making a new friend out of it. Overall it was a very pleasurable experience and I believe Tom is a true asset to KIA and a good role model for other car salesman as well. I highly recommend Thomas ODonnell!!! -Robert MacKinnon
