New Balance has an excellent selection of running shoes which get very specific. There are walking shoes, running sneakers ranging from trail to regular running, and range from low end to high end, and from narrow to wide. As far as running apparel, they have great stuff for that too. Shorts, shirts, socks, gloves, jackets, and so on. Not to mention all the NB branded stuff down to useless trinkets. The prices for running shoes are really great, and as for apparel, I personally think its a bit pricey, but I think compared with other high-end running-wear, its priced well below what you would pay elsewhere for similar stuff. Be warned, if you are beginning running, get a good padded running shoe, I made the mistake of buying a thin sole, and Im paying for it with Plantar Fasciitis, where the bottoms of my feet are in chronic pain. Although Im almost healed, it has been like walking on broken glass for 2 months. Barefoot running is for experienced runners, and even they should be wary.

Hard-to-find models of popular sneakers are often here, in many sizes. Clearance items can be marked down by 50% or more - for high-performance clothing, this store is certainly budget-friendly. If youre in search of a particular shoe model or article of clothing, timing is key; the inventory on the floor changes frequently, so stopping in regularly to check whats new is your best bet. The floor personnel get mixed reviews as far as helpfulness; sometimes for highly-technical sneaker questions there isnt much of a response, yet theyll be able to point you in the right direction of where specific items will be located. And of course, with the companys commitment to a portion of their footwear being domestically-made or assembled, one can spend money there conscientiously.

This store has a wide variety of merchandise for men and women. Find all you need for clothing, accessories and sneakers. This is my go-to place to buy running and lifestyle sneakers. The staff are super friendly, helpful and full of knowledge. Be sure to sign-up for their email notification of sales. Its totally worth it. There are some really good sales every few months. At the time of this writing, the store was offering 40% off of all merchandise. Ive also purchased items in the past when theyve had a buy one get one half off sale. If you think youre not getting the right support in your shoe, be sure to check out the different inserts which add support and cushioning. Its the best Ive ever used. I use these inserts when I buy the 574 Lifestyle shoes.

For some of us, New Balance provides the best fit. I wear 12 EEEE and simply cant find any shoes that fit as well as New Balance. Their Factory Store provides better selection and lower prices than any regular retailers. Today for example, I dropped $100 but walked out with 2 pair of walking shoes and 12 pair of cotton socks. Customers include many earnest athletic looking types, parents getting shoes for kids, and overweight, diabetic geezers like me looking for any help we can get to keep from falling on our face as we walk down the street. Finally, a shout out to staffer, Bill, for fitting advice and backstage rummaging to find what I needed.

Great staff always helpful but sometimes lack of product knowledge. The store should have a chart of sneakers and support for each sneaker. Example : 860- No support 870- Mild support 880- Over pronate This is only an example but each sneaker should be identified for what the design accomplishes for the runner. Purchasing the wrong sneaker can cause injury qhen running. Other than this it is a great store and company with great staff at this location.

I can always find shoes here to fit my feet. I wear a womens size 11 and I have a narrow heel. Most places have only a few ugly things for me to try on (if I am lucky). But here I have my choice of normal looking shoes to choose from. As an outlet store, they may not have everything, but they will happily check the warehouse for your size if you ask about any shoe. I love that there is plenty of room in this store (they moved a few years ago).

This store recently moved down the street from the original location to a nice warehouse with a funky design inside. The store offers plenty of parking and sells shoes as well as apparel. The staff was helpful when I went, and knew the products well. My only complaint is that I thought the outlet would have lower prices and more items on sale.

Awesome selection and you can find America-made high quality sneakers. But staff is aweful, unhelpful and absolutely lazy. They dont help you at all even if you ask them. It doesnt matter how much you spend there - they dont care. I hope management will notice and hire professional staff, not this lazy guys.

Best shoes ever! They have the largest range of widths out there, they are made well and they last. I typically wear a pair of shoes from them from 1-2 years depending on how much I walk around. Keep in mind this store will not have their newest shoes, although the shoes they have will be discounted.

I prefer the store in Lawrence, for ease of use (entering and exiting parking lot is tricky), but it is a great selection of running and lifestyle shoes, plus a lot of clothing options. Once you get on their email chain theyll let you know about promotions, which definitely make the trip worth it.

I found the size 14s I was looking for quite easy. They had a terrific selection of shoes up to size 16. The pricing was phenomenal...half the price I would normally pay. Lots of great clothing too. The store is massive with lots of help ready to help out. Highly recommend it.

They will replace your shoes if they start falling apart. That is pretty cool! Customer service has never ever been "great" over there. Not sure why but they obviously dont have more of an incentive to sell. Maybe they dont have enough staff? Regardless it is what you make of it.

I cant wear Nee Balance anymore. Everything that I would want to wear is not in my size. Nothing on their website or in their factory store for a reasonable price in my size. How many 16-2e size shoes do they need I their store? Why not have more 12-2e?
