Rude is too kind a word. The service here was unreal. I came in bought a tea and gave a 50% tip. Yes, 50%. I once worked for tips and I am friends with someone who owns a coffee shop in another state, so I know it is difficult to make very much. Anyway, I asked if I could use the rest room please and I was told it was through those doors and handed a key on a long spoon. I went through the doors (into another building) asked directions found the bathroom and then looked down and noticed the big spoon he handed me said: "women". I went back and I said "sorry but I have the wrong key". He very very rudely said: "you have to read man". I said well I thought you handed me the right key, he said: " I didnt hand it to you, you got it from the end of the bar........" I said, well can I please have the correct key and he pointed a finger down to where it was. It is difficult to adequately describe how they put genuine effort into being unkind. I have worked in the business and I have been to coffee shops from Alabama, SC, Hawaii, California, New Orleans, NY, Japan, etc. This is perhaps the worst service attitude ever encountered. Wont be back.

Mì nấm ở đây ngon tuyệt. Lúc đầu cứ nghĩ mì xào nấm không chắc chán lắm. Hôm í đi cafe cùng bạn mà nó gọi mì này thơm nứcjhoong chịu được nên quyết tâm lần sau ra phải ăn thử. Mì xào với nhiều loại nấm, sợi mì to bản dẹt thêm với những miếng phomai mỏng. Ăn không bị ngấy chút nào. Có lần nghiện quá phải 2 đĩa mới thấy đã. Ở đây cứ gọi đồ ăn là được kèm salat nên thấy không đắt. Không gian quán rộng mà đẹp nữa. Giá cho đĩa mì là 75k kèm cả salat nha

I want to love this place as it is right across the street from my work. I took a job in the city in March and was thrilled to have this place right outside the train station. They have a point system and Ive gotten several free coffees. They also work hard to be sustainable. But after going to it for 5 months now -- I am going to another nearby coffee shop. Ive had too many instances where the coffee, Cappucino, Chai Latte, Latte tastes acrid. Yesterdays hot mocha was the last straw. No more wasting 4 dollars. My theory is that it has to do with any milk, soy milk or any addition to the coffee. Its either sour to start with or there is something going on with their equipment. Am giving them the feedback directly as well.

Very friendly staff, cozy space, and good coffee & tea offerings. As a non-caffeine drinker, I appreciated having a few herbal tea choices. The peppermint tea was refreshing. They have baked goods from a few local places including Haley House, Iggys, and Swissbakers. There is limited seating here, so wouldnt plan on a meeting or working for a long time unless you come at an off time. There is free Wi-Fi here and they also have a small case of prepared foods including sandwiches that seemed popular.

Such a refreshing place for coffee. The service was beyond friendly and helpful. It was genuine and warm. The coffee barista explained differences in styles to me. We chatted about coffee and life. He was amazing. The vibe is welcoming and cozy. The coffee was robust and delicious without that burnt or bitter taste. They have a huge variety and will customize it for you. Cute and decent sized sitting area. Go here for awesome service and java

I went on a personal vacation to the Boston area and happen to get off at the North Station and noticed these guys. The guy who made my latte served it to me with a lovely double heart on the top. Hes got the skills to pay the bills! This shop is exactly what I love in a coffee establishment: Friendly and informative baristas, delicious coffee and just a dash of professionalism. If I didnt live so far away, Id visit all the time!

Staffs are welcoming and friendly, and do some great jobs on coffee. Their cakes from Portos make this place even better. Full of adorable little toys and decorations to enjoy. This cafe has become my very favorite place in town! Do not hesitate what to get here.. just order their signature drink. It is purely the best!

I used to work really close to the Equal Exchange Cafe and would sometimes go for an afternoon pick-me-up. Gotta love all the fair trade products and local bakery items. Plus the staff is super knowledgable and super helpful. Definitely get the hot chocolate... its indulgent, delicious, and best of all... REAL!

I just came here for a cup of hot chocolate and not coffee so Ill keep it simple. The hot chocolate was mediocre, so 3. The service was good, and the decor and idea is good, so +1. And there we go. Its not really that great in my opinion, but if I ever come back for coffee well see again.

my favorite espresso in town - a great blend and a hell of a machine. the staff is ALWAYS awesome. food is expensive, but the espresso makes up for it. on point. a fun place to people watch too - sit at the windows facing North Station and you will see characters all over the place!

The coffee is delicious, professionally made by a proper barista. Its a fun little cafe with a laid back feel and in the summer they have seats out on their patio. To top it off, its all fair trade and environmentally friendly - so enjoy your coffee without any guilt.

Great spot for coffee and breakfast. The people are fantastic and the coffee is excellent. They have Wi-Fi and though it is small you can camp here for a bit and get some work done.

Clean interior and great coffee. Outdoor seating is a bit odd (in a parking lot), and the vegan options were quite minimal from the pastry menu. My cranberry pastry was quite rough.
