On March 13, I traded in a pair of Fluevog boots, a pair of motorcycle boots, and shoes. That went fine . I chose the credit option, and I found a pair of jeans for my husbands birthday which was just what I needed. I was psyched. Unfortunately, they didnt fit and were clearly marked wrong by the initial manufacturer. The new tags as well as, the" Buffalo Exchange" tags were still on them, which is why they were given up in the first place. These were not 32s but more like 31s. I added them to the pile of clothing to bring in on my next visit. When I went back, none of my things were desirable, so no deal. No problem- except they wouldnt even let me leave the pants(let alone get any credit for them) "Our donation bins are all filled up" "Go down to Urban Renewal...they take donations". I gave my daughter the credit for 40 or so $ to spend in Brooklyn. This place is a real racket with 0 business acumen and savvy. My friend wont be going back either, and shes a big shopper.Nuts to most of the trash you sell as "trendy".Where did this chain start, anyway??? Get it out of Allston. It brings down the neighborhood.

I went to this store and while I was shopping around at their average and relatively overpriced merchandise I found out they had towed my car! I parked on the side of the building in their ally thinking it was fine because there isnt a sign on that entire graffiti wall in their picture that says NO PARKING; in fact, I saw two other cars parked there, so I didnt think anything of it. It cost me $131 and I got nothing but a long wait on the Boston Police Department phone line and a long walk to the towing company. Will never go to any business in this plaza again. Green Realty, the owner of this property can go to Hell. The merchandise here wasnt worth the drive anyway. Needless to say I returned it so I could pay my parking ticket.

I tried to sell clothes there on three different occasions and all three times not one item was bought. They advertise that they buy trendy and " used" clothing, but that just isnt the case. The woman who "appraise" the clothing dont know what they are doing. I was told they where looking for last years mens fashions. So I went out and bought some items and brought them in, price tags attached, they did not buy one item. What is going on with this second hand store? I will never buy or sell there and I will make it a point to tell others.

I dont shop here, but I do sell a lot of cloths to them. Its a good store for what it does. Theyll give you straight up cash or store credit for your items. Of course it wont be nearly the same price as what you paid, and of course they wont want everything, but its always worth a visit before just throwing your stuff on the Goodwill bin. Unlike true consignment places like Second Time Around, you will recieve cash immediately regardless of whether they sell your item or not. Finding oarking nearby can be very tricky though.

Took train alll the way from east boston with a big suitcase full of clothes. Leather lambskin jackets never worn with tags still attached, guess jackets never worn, 200 dollar poisin jeans..Did not take ANYTHING accept a pair of cheap sunglasses i paid 5 dollars for yet they refused all the EXPENSIVE name brand stuff with tags all still on them..NEVER AGAIN DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE YOU WILL WAISTE YOUR TIME!!! They have weird style cause my stuff was 1000 times better than anything that store had that looked old and raggity.

Dont bother consigning here. If the sales clerk is busy, she wont even look at what youve brought in. Cleaning my closet, I filled a plastic bin with purchases from the last two years- tons of Free People, Johnny Was, and other bohemian pieces. The overwhelmed clerk ( there were three people waiting to consign behind me) dismissed my bin without even looking at it. Made me feel stupid for even bringing it in. I went to Second Time Around, where they took more than half of the clothing, and all the shoes and sandles.

I got Manolo Blahniks here for $25. It was a miracle. They had Miu Miu shoes too, so clearly this place has some hidden gems if youre willing to take the time to look for them. As with any thrift shop, youre more likely to find something strange than something amazing. However, Ive always had good luck finding cute dresses. Overall, there is not a ton of designer or high end clothing here. Prices are definitely reasonable, even if sometimes its not much cheaper to get an H&M dress here than to buy it at H&M itself.

They didnt have a great selection in the store and were very picky with what styles they accept for trade which was surprising. I traded with them before and it was great but the new staff is not so accommodating. Unless you have brand new stuff with tags dont go to trade there. I had name brand heels in great condition and they wouldnt take them in.

I walked in there with my mom the other day and enjoyed my mini shop. Authentic name brand things for low prices gave them a green light in my book. Since i shop at stores such as Rugby, Footlocker, Atb, True religion etc. It really helped my collection of things grow for way less then what i pay now :)

I wish I still lived in Boston so I could shop here. Good, unique selection of higher-end used and vintage clothes. Im very petite, so its really hard to find clothes (especially vintage clothes) that are small enough for me, but I almost always came out of here with something I loved.

I like Buffalo Exchange. Its hit or miss, mostly miss but when its good like a Milly dress for $30 dollars you can find great deals. The people are nice and friendly. Its definitely worth a trip every now and then. Definitely my favorite in the area.

Great place to find name brand clothing for cheap prices. You can exchange clothes for money or in store purchases which makes everything that much better. Usually shop here once a week to try and find the new offerings

I always find something nice in new condition for a fraction of the price. Three mens business casual dress shirts and pair of shoes for under $100. When it comes to shopping thats living the dream right there.

Its an alright thrift store - you can find some good clothes and cool brands over there. Usually its overpriced though. And some of the clothes are in a not a good shape for the price they are asking for.

Not your typical consignment shop, carries trendy clothes from higher end labels for great prices. The styles reflect the neighborhood of the store so it tends to run younger and trendier.

One of the best consignment shops in the area! Great clothes, though you have to check back often. Clothes are very hipster, though. (Its Allston, though, what did you expect?)
