This is the TINY engine that could. Looking for de-Icer? they have it. A 3/4 inch wrench?... they have it... Looking for the style 134 mauve paint, they have it!... break a window paine?... theyll cut it for you...wow! Could possibly be the tiniest Hardware store you will ever walk into... but it has everything. Ive stop going to Home Depot because Im constantly surprised that they always have what Im looking for... The staff are fantastic, always helpful as SOON as you walk through the door. The prices are incredibly reasonable considering location and savings of not having to leave the city! This is one of those privately owned businesses that you want to see survive.. they offer great service and a even better product.... Long Live Vulcan..er I mean Back Bay Hardware!

I walked 4 miles to find this hardware store to fix our sons sink and the employee was rude unhelpful and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. We were there Friday august 11th @ 10:30am. Hardware stores are usually the type of establishment where customer service is of the utmost importance. Take a uber to Home Depot worth the money and no aggravation!!

Went in looking for a bag of concrete, they charged me $9.00 for a 40 lb. bag, usually an 80 lb. bag costs $3.00! When the clerk rang me up and said $9.00 I questioned it, and the clerk said "well thats the price do you want it or not". The service was as terrible as the clerk was ignorant! Your better off going to home depot...

I have never been more pleased with a hardware store, with their willingness to help out and offer good advice on how to get things done. They even delivered some things to me after a surgery I had. I am very pleased to have them as my neighborhood hardware store, and appreciate the value they place on their customers.

BEST HARDWARE STORE in Boston! The staff are TOP NOTCH. They always greet you and offer to help. The stock is TOP SHELF. They have...everything. THE DEAL: You *may* pay a little extra for an item, to cover the rent of this convenient Newbury st location. You *will* SAVE TIME & GAS MONEY!

This place is a little over priced when it comes to buying hardware supplies, but what do you expect ITS BACK BAY. Its super convient and right in the city. I made a visit here to get some keys copied and the service was great and super fast, I have no complaints.

This might be the worlds smallest hardware store, but the staff is knowledgeable and if you cant find something they are there to help. A bit pricier due to its location, but in a pinch this is the place.

Your store hours are clearly misrepresented. I came one Saturday and it was suppose to open at 9 am. It is now noon and your business sales person clearly did not make their shift today.

Didnt properly duplicate my key (they used a wrong key type), I had to come back to get refunded, and they tried to refund me a lower amount.
