Its a Staples so they have the inventory Staples has.....fine. But the service is HORRIBLE. I foolishly bought something online to pick up at the store. Got the email saying it was ready for pickup. Got to the store and was told they didnt have all the items in stock. So I took what they had and told them to cancel the other items; they said no problem. Of course they didnt. Had to go back and talk with manager who promised that the order was being processed correctly and my refund would come. I told him I would buy him lunch if that turned out to be true. I never had to buy lunch as of course the refund did not go through. Go back to the store for visit #3...in desperation or frustration the clerk just gave me a coupon for the amount I was supposed to be refunded. All in all, typical retail store....."management" is only a long forgotten concept and customers are something to be tolerated not served. Like others, they are simply too successful to care anymore. I now try to get all the Staples type items I need at an online location named after a long river in South America. No trips to the store, easy refund process if necessary and no interaction with someone who thinks they are doing their job simply because they were handed a title.

I hate this Staples. Young woman in the copy center copied a 22 page curriculum vitae with the watermark on the resume paper not facing the correct direction THREE TIMES. Each time I had to tell her it was wrong and shed say "It is?". Called manager over and he screwed it up too!! Had to leave and go to Kinkos. By the way, Jeff in the copy center is outstanding!! Have had.many problems in this store over the last 10+ years. 2 miles from my house and I need to travel about 7 miles to the next location to get some things done. This stote, and Staples in general, is a mess. Theyre supposed to be the office experts, right? Theyre not.

After a horrible customer service experience at one of Staples competitors, we trudged over to Staples in North Beverly to try to print our wedding programs. Alex behind the copy desk was professional, eager to help us, explained our options thoroughly, helped us tweak the programs to make them look their very best. I spent over two days over and hour each trying to have them print a picture that was somehow coming out black. After finally admitting their printer was broken on the second day, they shrugged and just said "try another Staples." Thank you for taking up my lunch break for two days and not even giving me a discounted print somewhere else.
