First off the only reason I am giving 1 star is because they are one of the few bike stores opened on Sunday. After this last visit not sure it even deserves a star for that. My friend brought a bike he was very excited to purchase to have tuned and was in a nutshell told the technology was completely out of date and he should invest in a brand new bike rather than attempting to fix it. WOW - seriously? What ever happened to customer service and making everyones bike be special - it may not be perfect but if its perfect for that person why would you rip it apart? I was shocked and then I was told he was one of the owners for the business. With customer service like he provided I am shocked people would come back. But then again I guess there are bike snobs out there that appreciate being told they need to best technology just to do a simple bike ride.. Very sad... P.S. We ended up taking the bike home and fixed what he said couldnt be fixed and then taking it to another shop to have the final tune up done.... I would think twice before doing business with this establishment..

I looked up the store to verify the hours - I need some help. I saw the reviews and thought Id add mine. The selection of bikes is consistently quite extensive and varied. They have a large selection of accessories and parts, and a decent array of tools. They have a very impressive selection of cycling shoes. Their technical repair knowledge is outstanding - I do most of my own repairs, but they have always given me lots of guidance. In 30 minutes I will have acquired a new center cap bolt for my 3 year old Ultegra crank and I will find out exactly where the spacer goes on the crankshaft. Mike is my go-to guy, but Ive found lots of expertise in a bunch of their staff. I dont know what "the staff has attitude" means, but Ive always noticed that someone always seems to be offering to help. And Im talking about the young kids. Local Bike Store" is a very tough business. High-end bikes have gotten very sophisticated, and they change every year. I thing Pedal Power is an excellent LBS.

I bought my wife a new road bike there for xmas and they were nothing but nice to us. Gave us some great tips, some new routes to take, set us up with the proper bike, the whole deal. I even brought the bike back in to get resized a few weeks ago because I bought it for her as a present, so she wasnt there to get fitted. They stopped packing away new shipments and refitted her right on the spot. They are on the small size, but if you want a bike they dont have in stock, they will order it for you.

Bought my bike here in the fall. I am not a die hard cyclist but I raced in my youth, and so was very particular about being satisfied and comfortable with what I was getting. This shop took a lot of time to make sure I was getting the right size and features in my price range. Several people helped out with different aspects of the bike. Very happy with them and with my new bike. They are a great example of buying locally to get great service at the same price as a huge chain store or online.

You are greeted with a smile and hello from each employee you pass while you walk through the store. Very accommodating and knowledgeable. They take their time with you and make you feel like you are the only customer there, but at the same time they dont pressure you. I got a sense that this is not just a job for each of the staff but their passion. Highly recommend.

Some describe as eccentric ... maybe, but they know there stuff. I actually owe them apology, I initially thought they sold me wrong tube, turns out, I didnt know what I was talking about, and they took the time to explain it all to me! Look forward to going back in the future.

Actually received a better price here on a great Specialized bike than I could find anywhere on line. Staff, especially Nick, was very helpful and has been since when I needed adjustments, and advice as I am a fairly new cyclist. All seem to be very knowledgeable and helpful.

I bought my bike there about a year ago and they have been very friendly and helpful for the past year. Whenever I walk in with a problem they are right there to help. All the staff is very knowledgable.

I called to ask if they had something in stock. I started to describe what I was looking for but the guy who answered was so rude and cut me off I didnt even get to finish. Taking my business elsewhere!
