Would give it a zero star if possible for this most recent visit: 1) Ordered an item online 2) Came to pick it up after getting email saying it was ready (1pm on a Saturday) 3) Was the 3rd person in line at customer service and it took 35 min to help me 4) Was told my order was at layaway 5) Went to layaway and was 4th person in line 6) After ten minutes of employees walking past no one was helped and no one appeared at the counter 7) We were told they had no one to cover the layaway department 8) Went into store found item and paid for it AGAIN just to make my holiday party on time. 9) Wasted over 1 hour of my time 10) While checking out heard that 3 other departments werent covered 11) Wrote an email to wal mart and heard nothing 12) Have to go back to the store just to return the item This was one of the worst displays of customer service I have ever seen. Even worse was the display of managerial skills as they understaffed themselves to the point that departments werent covered and did nothing to help their employees out. Glad there is a Target in Westminster, will be taking my business there from now on.

Went to get some eye brow jewelry and it took 15 minutes of the actual people that are suppose to be working ignoring me and I watched 2 individuals look directly at me, stop and hurry off down an aisle. 15 minutes go by and a younger gentleman I hadnt seen yet came over and was able to find the older woman, you know at the other side of the store and no where near her designated work area, and he brought her to me so I could finally get my items. Some people should be fired if they dont want to do the job correctly. They wonder why sales arent as good in the jewelry department, but this particular Wal-Mart its because we leave the area after waiting so long for service that we give up. This is the 27th time I have waited entirely too long in jewelry. I can understand maybe 5 minutes but apologize for it and explain if you were simply busy elsewhere helping another customer, but 15, 20, even 30 minutes time for a customer to get tired of waiting and watching employees duck and run that they leave and nobody ever shows up? Thats just ridiculous. The best employee so far seems to be the self check outs.

My son lost his 2nd tooth today and the "tooth fairy" was shopping for his gift. Said fairy was so happy and jovial and said hello to the employee she encountered upon her arriving inside the store, which she frequents, and was greeted with a stern stare and no response. Granted it was 10:15, and Im sure the employee wasnt happy about having to work a late shift, but the "tooth fairy" perused her mission for the special gift. She was smiling and politely said " hello" to each employee she encountered only to have her happy greeting met with gory stares. Im simply leaving this review on behalf of the tooth fairies report as she was crestfallen by the crude employees response. She also informed me that out of the 7 employees she said, "hello" to only ONE responded in any way. The "tooth fairy" and her family will NO LONGER shop at your unfriendly store. She is happy to pay the higher prices at Target for better customer service.

The worst of the worst.. I purchased a bike in the Hanover, PA store, but the bike assembler wasnt there to make sure my newly purchased bike was all good to go. I took it to my local Westminster, MD store and they told me that they no longer have a bike assembler... They told me they dont have enough hours to hire a new one. The handle bars are extremely loose and the brakes need adjusting. The support manager told me that none of their bikes have loose handle bars (accusing me of lying). I had him get the manager who also kind of rude. I mean I could get past the dirty store, but when they dont care about their customers, there is no reason to go back into the store. Lost a customer.

The management are very unknowledgeable about a lot of the rules and how things work at Walmart... Some of the staff that work there are very courteous and kind but some of them are a little off acting you can speak friendly to them and they dont really say hi or anything back... The store is usually a mess with items and the aisles all the time making it hard for handicap to even try to get around! I do like to pharmacy they are very kind and courteous and try to help out as much as possible. But as for the store it needs a lot of help!

One of the worst Walmarts I have ever been to. I really try to avoid walmarts as I feel they put other stores out of business for just a huge store of just mediocre products and mediocre service. This store is always dirty, grocery section is not even worth it. I realize complaining about Walmart is just about everyones general consensus- but some Walmarts are clean and have a wide variety of products- not this location especially in the City of Westminster- it could be much better

Never enough coverage on the floor. Took all sales associates to make a stocking team"cap" team. Scheduling issues. Management does not stand behind its employees. Moral is down. Over stressed workers. Very unclean enviroment dispite the maintence changes.. very tight isles most with a pole splitting it. Dont get paid for the job we do. No recognition by management team. And careless bossy style by some members of managment. No way to advance in this store.

The staff that I came in contact with was very friendly but that was the only thing OK about this place. This Walmart is the grossest Walmart of all the Walmarts and I have been to many including one in the depths of West Virginia. I try not to go to Walmart anymore since discovering it is the devil and the Walton family is everything that is wrong with our society (read about it) but it was the only place open with what I needed.

I work right across the street from this Walmart, so I am tempted to stop there when I need to pick something up quickly. I regret it every time. Its always crowded and the employees are nice, but not very helpful and they rarely look for things if they cant find it within 30 seconds of the initial request. The worst part is the selection. Its very limited and I usually have to go to the other walmart or gracery store anyway.

Over crowded, messy, and old pretty much sum this place up. This store was big enough many years ago but now with all the houses that were built in the area before the economy crashed this place is too small. The problem they have with making this a super walmart is theirs just not enough space they need to close this building up and move to a part of westminster where theirs enough land to build a super walmart.

Over the 4th of July weekend. ..they racist POS vendors selling fireworks in the parking lot disrespected my girlfriend with verbal trash because she didnt park in "parking spot" while trying to purchase fireworks for her grandson in the pouring down rain, when nobody was even around....Walmart management should think twice about how the allow as vendors on their property. ...
