On Friday, October 17th, my wife and I went to Target store in Largo, MD (Store#1006) to buy a Baby crib for our unborn child. We initially went to the Brandywine location where we spend about $400 on other baby stuff but they did not have the crib we were looking for so we were told that Largo had it in stock. Upon arrival at Largo store, we were told that a store rep was going to bring the crib we are looking for from an outside truck. We waited for 30 minutes and asked for updates and we were told that it will be coming out soon. After waiting for over an hour, with my pregnant wife on her feet all that time, one of the store reps asked for the status again and we were told that it was too dark and for that matter they are not able to retrieve the item after dark so we should come the next day. We asked to speak to a manager but instead he or she sent us one of the team leads working called, Winnie who came to confirm that they were not going to get the crib so we should come the next day. This was a horrible experience as we could have been told earlier that we should go and come the next day and not have us wait for over an hour. I will never again shop at Target again and I want to return all the things I purchased at the Brandywine store. If you dont care about a pregnant woman being on her feet for over an hour waiting for a crib, you should not care about her money.

I consistently have poor experiences in this, my neighborhood, Target. This is only one step Im taking to make sure my voice is heard. This target routinely does not have the shelves stocked with merchandise to be purchased. Often damaged merchandise is left on the shelf and no more put out in an attempt to force a purchase, for example a pack of sanitary napkins that that packaging has been sliced through so deep that a pad inside is damaged but I guess Im still supposed to buy that because Im a woman and I need it. I dont think so. The lines are always long and no cashiers on hand at peak times when the store is full and sometimes not even at peak times when there are few customers there still isnt anyone to assist you in making your purchase. My most recent visit there were no carts available. None. They were either all in the parking lot, scattered or being used by associates to hold the merchandise that is still being stocked at 8:15 am on a Saturday morning. The store had just opened and it looked as if a hurricane had come through. Some aisles I didnt even go down because I couldnt! I leave with an attitude every time and I really feel for those who have to do a lot of shopping there. I went for 4 items and left with 2 because the rest they didnt have available. Ive complained before and I guess I will continue until something else is done.

The store gets 2 stars just for being Target but the staff in this store is abysmal. Sale items regularly scan at the incorrect price and the staff will spend time haggling with you instead of correcting the price. For example, I went to buy discounted Christmas items and picked up a pack of Thank You Christmas cards from the christmas clearance section. The item rang up at full price even though it was clearly a Christmas item from the clearance section. Instead of adjusting the price they said that many items in the clearance section were not on sale and told me that the cards were full price. The same thing happened on Black Friday. I went to purchase a Memory Game. The paper ad had a sampling of 3 character variations, but there were many more character variations in the Black Friday Memory Game display. The game I picked up from the Black Friday display rang up at full price even though it was a clearly advertised item. Instead of making a quick adjustment the staff made a big deal of removing all the other boxes of the game I had from the Black Friday display (but leaving the 10 other variations that were not in the paper) and telling me that I was getting a deal because it was a mistake. I cross my fingers whenever I go in this store that the item will ring up as advertised so that I will not have wasted my time picking through items.

I have none but good words for this Target, plus some much needed improvement suggestions. I have read some of the reviews and frankly my experience has not been as bad; thankfully so, but then again I come what, once a month, and generally for things I already know are there. As far as suggestions go, I dont think they are the kind of decisions that can be taken at the store level, but customers talking about them might push management to ask corporate to incorporate those changes. I am of course talking about Apple Pay, Google Pay, and the likes. Integrate those payment systems already;

The undercover security guy thought I was stealing so he approached me and asked "is there anything in your bag" and I said no then he says "ok just making sure".... If you thought I was stealing youre supposed to know for sure. He followed my friend and I around the store the whole time for no reason at all, thats harassment. I threw all the stuff I was about to buy on a shelf and then he says "oh you dont want it anymore?".. NO why would I want to buy from that thought I was stealing.
