Although it depends on what employee you will be talking with, my latest experience was really bad. I needed to check battery in my car and first thing they asked was to put car in front of the store, when in other store employee was fine with going to parking lot (+20 feet walk). After few minutes he told me that he cannot check it since it is not fully charge and he need to charge it in store, but he refused to help me because "this is not our battery". So he gives me tools and provide little help to disconnect the battery. That charging take a while but after it was done none ever come to proceed with checking. I was have to remind them several times and after waiting in a new line of customers I finally got my batter checked. So now I needed to by a new one and got it installed. After paying for my battery they told me that 1) to get a free installation I need to buy some thing (which is not even fitting my car) for 4$, 2)I again need to wait until all customers behind (!) me in a line will be served. Also I think I was talking with a same lady that other reviewer already described because she was saying "I dont care how long are you waiting here" I wouldnt recommend going into that store unless you have no other options, drive for 13 minutes to other location. Or you can hope that you will face more polite crew shift.

I stopped in on the evening of Sunday, February 26th and purchased a few items. One of which included a bottle of tire shine. I got five minutes down the road and went to apply the tire shine, one squeeze and the nozzle broke. I called them two minutes after they closed and asked them if they could replace it quickly as I was right around the corner. He said due to security reasons, after closing, nobody is allowed in, which I understand (laziness). I asked him if I could just wait outside and he could bring me one to the door and Id gladly give him the defective product. He said he would ask his manager and then proceeded to hang up on me. I called back and they didnt even have the decency to answer. I showed up thirty seconds later and knocked on the door as the associate was sweeping, bottle of tire shine in hand. He gave me some hand gesture and essentially told me to screw off (rudeness). Long gone are the days of customer service.

Advance Auto Parts has always given me great service, which is why I was very upset at the poor performance of this store. I called ahead inquiring about a common brake tool to rent, and not only did the gentleman not know what the tool was, but he put me on hold indefinitely. I traveled to the store anyway and the man I talked to recognized my voice/request, and once again said hed "find someone" to help me, which left me standing there for 10 minutes (and no, they werent busy). Eventually an employee said the tool was returned broken by someone earlier so they couldnt help me. I had a long list of parts I needed for my car and was ready to purchase, but now I suppose Ill head to Pep Boys instead.

Literally just left the store. Went in to look for an oil filter for my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and their book isnt up to date so had to go wait in line to ask about the part number since they dont carry STP products in store. Stood in line for 10mins before getting up to the counter. Then the girl took 20mins to checkout about 5 people who had their items to pay. Just said screw it and left. Seems like an ongoing issue with this particular location. Even when going in and knowing what your buying expect about 10mins to get to the register and pay...

Waited a total of 30 minutes to get my battery tested.. everytime i thought i would finally get helped... they would help the next person first. " gotta get the line down " in the mean time there were employees in the back hiding out. Ended up putting my own battery in after all that.. i used their tools. HORRIBLE customer service. And employees that dont know dick about parts.

Woman named Raquel could change a battery about as well as she could speak English. It took her exactly 53 minutes to change my battery. I asked her to because it was free, didnt expect it to take her so long. Its a 5-minute battery change. Disgraceful. Never going to ask her to help me again. The rest of the store was alright.

I went in to buy a replacement main beam for one of my minivans headlights and I wanted to look this up in the book that pretty much every auto parts store has to make sure that I get the right one, except they didnt have one of those books. Guess what? There were 5 people in front of me so I just walked out.

As a former customer now currently employed by the company I must say it gets busy but I believe our customer service is top notch. I personally try to be as helpful as I can as some of our customers have had or are having a bad day when comes to auto repairs and its always a pleasure.

I wind up here a lot due to its proximity to my work. While its location is convenient nothing else about it is. Service is awful, there will often be 5 or 6 staff members standing around talking about how much they dislike working there while customers pile up at the one open register

If youre looking for stickers, stick on cheap plastic/chrome parts, fake hood scoops, things to hang from your rearview mirror, or car wax this is the place to go. If youre looking for gaskets, o-rings, washers or other things to actually fix a vehicle, they have very very little.

They wouldnt tell me over the phone if they had purple and white touch up paint. They said I needed to go to their location and look. So, they wanted me to drive five miles to look at the paint so they wouldnt have to walk 20 feet to check for me. So Lazy. So Unhelpful.

I never come back here they offer free battery. Installation. Beautiful when I am in the store they told me they dont do anymore and the big post is outside the store free battery instalation. I waiting half hour for nothing unprofessional

Worst customer service ever had. Visit recently have replaced my wipers. CSR woman refused it saying they are about close. I told politely my car is in front. She said in front of other costemers I dont care where your car is

I do inventory of Advance Auto locations so I get to also watch how they interact with the customers. This location needs work on that interaction AND organization of the store. The prices are fair, though.

You know "manners" go along way. While in line one of the employees walked pass in front of me with a cart and never said "excuse me. Poor home training and company etiquette .
