Avoid their framing department! I had submitted a matting order at this Michaels over a week ago, and they said they would call me when it was ready. I never got a call, and when I called them, the rep said that it had been ready for a few days! When I went to pick up my order and check the matting, it was UNEVEN! Who orders uneven matting? When I asked the rep at the framing desk, she went to go get a ruler even though it was CLEARLY uneven. The rep told me to come back the next day, but as I was leaving town and this store is far from where I live, I told her that this was not possible. She said it normally takes 30 mins to do, but she would have to help other customers if anyone showed up. I asked if it was possible to get a refund since they had me pay for the matting when I placed my order. "We dont do refunds on framing". Really? Even when you mess up? I came back in an hour, and the rep hadnt even started the matting. I was finally able to see the manager, who gave me a refund without questions. 2 trips and a lot of hassle later. Please train your framing department rep better in matting and customer service!

I had to wait 40 min. to get a receipt because they didnt give me one after a tax exemption. After swiping my card 6 times and no success 3 people had to try and figure out how to get me a receipt. My receipt printed out and the numbers werent visible due to low cartridge ink. I had to walk away or have everything rung up again for the 4th time. Walked out with only a "sorry". Not planning to stop here again.

I called before going and asked if the recollections zippered planners were in stock? Was put on hold and she comes back and say yes we have them I get in the car and take this 22 min ride to get there and the shelf is completely empty so I asked where are they she says oh I have a delivery but it wont be on the shelf until tomorrow .

They had everthing my local art supply store had and more. I was kinda starstruck when i walked in. I had just came from my local art store and bought a couple of things but seen the same things at Michaels for a slightly lower price.

Overall a great go-to place for craft supplies; it is my favorite in town. However, the organization is a bit shabby (from people placing things they dont want in the wrong isles) and there is always an enormous line.
