Always have had a great experience at this CB when we visit Hagerstown. This past Sunday, April 2, 2017, was the exception. We had a reservation for 9 for noon. Part of our party was delayed 10 min. due to church letting out late. When I went to explain that to the desk, the person that I assume was the "manager" at the time, turned her back to me and I could hear her say, "I gave up a lot of tables and customers for this." If you are going to make a comment...do it away from the customers. She knew I was there...I apologized to the desk people and her before she made that comment. FYI- The waiter and waitress were AWESOME, as was the food! I felt that I needed to comment on this ladys behavior because when I came out of the bathroom, one of the people in the store asked some of the people waiting in line to move a bit away from the bathroom opening. The one lady said, "I am not going anywhere. THAT lady (the same one I am speaking about) told me to wait here. I am not moving. She scares me!"

The food was fantastic as always but when I went to pay and use a gift that was on my phone they wouldnt allow it after being told I could use it. I asked if they had a printer I could use then to print it and they said no they couldnt help me. They said my gift card could be counterfeit and they dont want to take the chances. The barcode on the gift card was an issue even if I did print it the only way to use my gift card is by barcode so Im still out of luck!! Very disappointed get up to date with the century Cracker Barrel tons of people use things virtually now.

The food at Cracker Barrel is always great, but I came to this one on my way home from a camping trip extremely ready for a real meal!! Unfortunately I was slightly disappointed when I got my food and realized the description on the Cracker Barrel menu for what I had ordered was very misleading and caused me to not be able to finish my meal. I was not offered anything else to eat. Staff was not rude, I just thought the situation couldve been remedied a lot better than how it was.

12/2/15 called to place order to go. phone rang until disconnected for ringing to long, did this 3 times til got someone. Then placed on hold after 5 min on hold started to go to store, got to store still on hold total time on hold 15 min. then placed order at store to go. decided to order something quick cause of the other delays. ordered bacon cheeseburger. waited another 35 min. to get food. total time to get food 1 hour 30 minutes.and the food is cold. not a good experience.

Service was ok but we waited over 45min for our food and even though we were told there was a gluten free menu it was hard to find any entree on the GF menu. We were served eggs that were almost raw and even after 45minutes of waiting. One of our other orders was ham steak which was tough and tasteless. During our 45 min wait they brought out muffins to "get us by while you wait" which was not helpful if you are gluten intolerant. Will NOT be back.

I REALLY like Cracker Barrel. Every time we pass by it I ask my mom, "Can we please go?" My favorite part is the Gift Shop. I can always find the perfect Christmas present for my mom or my grandma or great-grandma there. But in the restaurant I like the cozy, warm atmosphere and the friendly personal service. Like I said, very cozy, in a homey cabin kind of way. Two thumbs up! :)

Stopped in on a Saturday evening, around 7:45 and it wasnt crowded. My husband and I were seated in the far dining area next to a table of screaming children. We should have asked to move bur let it go. We ordered breakfast. We were served hard corn muffins, lukewarm grits and old hash browns. Of all the times we have eaten here, this was the worst. I doubt we will be back.

I love Cracker Barrel...the food is great, homestyle, comfort food and the atmosphere is the finishing touch. I especially love their breakfast. Service is okay, but on two separate occasions, my family and I were standing at the entrance to the dining area with a hostess ready to seat us, and she took another family before us, even though we were next. Totally irritated.

Sitting here for 20 minutes... someone came to take our order before she even asked if we wanted something to drink. She seems rather irritated and like she doesnt really want to be here. While placing our order she kept cutting off what we were saying before we finished our sentences... maybe things will get better? Time will tell..

We won the prize for a free catered meal and were impressed by the service we received. We placed our order at thr restaurant, but you can also order online. There is reserved parking for pickup. We got a complete catfish dinner for six with sweet tea and a dozen cookies for under $100 incl. tax. GREAT DEAL!!!

Standard Cracker Barrel fare, but theyve got the Campfire chicken meals going this time of year and I love it. Juicy, tasty meal, chicken not dry, plenty of food at a very reasonable price. Service was very friendly and fast though the place was packed on Saturday night.

The food was great and reasonably priced. The service was good. I like when the server asks you after you have had a bite or two how is everything. The Manager came by introduced himself after we ate and asked how our visit was. So nice to be appreciated as a customer.

Whats with these servers, they never want to come back to the table!? My parents ordered coffee to start and then water with their meal. The server refilled their coffee but my father had to stop another server to get their water. Ever choke on cracker barrel chicken!

Good family atmosphere. Good food at decent prices. Off street parking. Friendly staff. Gift shop inside restaurant. Has a large fireplace lit in the Winter time. Good choice for large parties. RV/Large Bus Parking in rear. 2 minutes off interstate 70.

Decent food and nifty shop to visit while you wait. Servers are friendly, but always too busy it seems to really give you full attention. Not necessarily their fault, but it doesnt help with little children. Really good for comfort style foods.

Ordered to go. Even though I arrived after the given time to pick up I still had to wait 20 minutes. The server came out and said she double checked the order for me. So I was annoyed when I got home a whole order of pancakes were missing.

We stopped at this location twice so far and have had good experiences. Our steaks were done correctly, the food was good, and the service was average. Overall it was a typical Cracker Barrel experience, and thats a good thing.

I almost always gotten fresh hot biscuits at the Hagerstown CB. Matthews review kind of concerns me though since I eat here frequently. I have seen attitudes from some of the waiters and some poor service but usually is ok.
