Original review: I went to Odyssey with a virus on my laptop.They "cleaned" it and then gave it back. I had to take it back again today (10 days later) because I had the same virus. My mother just took her laptop to them recently too. To get rid of the virus for they reinstalled the operating system. They did the same thing for my second time with the same virus. As a result, I lost EVERYTHING i had on my computer. I lost my Microsoft office, webcam, etc. When asked, they said that Id have to call microsoft in hopes of getting a copy without paying full price. As a side note, when we had Odyssey come to my church, Rudwan tried to get a date with our pastor. PLEASE "Nancy" I BEG YOU TELL EVERYONE WHAT I DO. Feel free. Im very interested to hear your thoughts! Ive been completely disappointed by this company in every way. And looking back, the store really seems like a group of computer geeks in their basement. RESPONSE: For starters, it seems as if "Nancy" is a part of the company being that this was deleted after a suggestion of doing so was made due to liability concerns. As well as being posted quite close to the day that the owner called me to tell me that I was wrong and needed to get rid of my review. In regards to my pastor, I dont know anything about your conversation with my pastor. I was told that you asked her out on a date and thats what I portrayed. As far as the question is concerned. I took my laptop to this store because I tried to support a local company. I took it back a second time because I paid the company and wanted them to do the job that I paid them for. In response to my "stolen" windows, youre pushing the concept of liability again by stating that Im a liar and a thief. Liability is a reasonable cause for a lawsuit, so I suggest you be careful with how you talk about your customers. In response to the previous response from the owner of this company- my mother brought her computer to you because, much like myself, she was disappointed in the service that was provided and wanted your company to do the job that you were paid for.

I purchased a laptop from them on ebay,,they sent me a cheaper model and slower modell,when I got it aftr weeks waiting,i complained to there staff,,,there staff then wrote and called me a DOUCHEBAG,,for complaining which is what anyone who sent them hundreds of dollars for a cheaper slower computer from them would do,,i was treated with no respect,,they continue to hold my money and im stuck with there cheap computer that is worthless to me,,im a video editor and wanted a fast computer that they advertised on there site,,they sent me a slow cheaper model,,i suppose they didnt think I would notice until there 14 day warranty ran out and I would be stuck with it,,,they continue to do nothing,,,i may have to file law suit to get my computer I ordered or money returned but that does me no good as that would take even more weeks of my time,,they have made me lose customers in my bsiness and this whole affair causes me suffering in that I lose money.these people called me dirty names and I dont appreciate this,,,,im sorry about this whole affair ut I dont think they will do the right thing by me,,so sorry.

The reason they wanted to see the memory and CAN NOT take part numbers over the phone is for multiple reasons. 1. Speed, is it PC600, 700 or 800 2. Timings is it 40, 45, 53 or higher 3. Size, 64, 128, 256 or 512 4. Number of memory chips, IE 4,8 or 16. All 4 of those things need to match in order for the stick to work. Next time you try getting RDRAM, just do what the techs ask you to do and dont try and be a dick. And to Chris, like your should be either. Never knew someone who would try and write a positive review of the very company the worked for/owned as if they were a customer.

Terrible Experience- First I bought a Refurbished HP EliteBook 8460p, Intel Core i5, 2.50GHz, 4GB RAM 320GB HDD, Webcam, Win-7 x64 for the Price: $179.95. They sent the first laptop the wrong address but did not forget to charge the right credit card. I bought the laptop from Wal-Mart so I assumed it would not be scammed or anything. Then I finally got the laptop and it worked for two days fine and then shorted out. Now it cannot even turn on. Whats the point of ordering a laptop if you have to deal with the hassle of missing and broken computers?

So far dealing with them I recommend have a idea about computers. After you get a good idea then its best to talk to them and work with them and a little heads up they try to sell you somethings. My experience so far is that they have tried a little thing here and there but if you know your equipment...ect you should have no problem getting good prices and a deals however my experience is not bad I give these warning for a reason. But I still will be doing more to see how accurate I am so wish me luck and have a good day.

I had an old tower on which the motherboard died. I needed to bring it back to life ASAP, so I visited this local store. The guy sold me a bad used motherboard, claiming it was new. When I got it home and realized that it would not work, I went to return it. The guy gave me a hard time, to the point of accusing me of breaking it. Finally, after some arguing and staring him down, he backed off and gave me a working replacement. Never again!

Fred :why did you take your computer to odyssey if you think they are not the best?The invitation was to the Pastor is to go to their community dinner for the local clergies and you new that. Why do you ask them to load illegal copy of office for you knowing that is what you have is a stolen copy from the church.You should be ashamed of yourself to bash hardworking people. Do you want me to tell what you do?

I recently bought a computer from these guys, which included a RW/DVD as they advertised on their Amazon page. It arrived with a Read only DVD drive. They refused to replace the DVD Read only drive with a R/W DVD drive. This is the old bait and switch routine! Beware of these guys, they dont care about customer satisfaction, only $
