9/22/14 I have gone to this location for years. I am debating on changing. The Dr. is very good; the receptionist has a lot to be desired. Very condescending and demanding; I think I will be changing this year. Construction going on at room to left of receptionist; no where to sit. 9/30/14; update per yesterdays experience I am forced to "find another optometrist". The receptionist was again rude and condescending, asking if I had an apt. I reminded her the Dr. wanted to see me for follow-up in a week having an infection of my eye and given eye antibiotic. Also, sometimes no one picks up to make an apt. She advised I had to take that up with the front office She was gong to "squeeze me in"; but then commented she could not fit me in until Friday. I was using one eye to get around; she was laughing/giggling with Anna whom I pointed out that it was not funny and clearly she was sabotaging my ability to be seen. I also advised she gave incorrect Insurance instructions; as covering the last apt as medical rather than the referral coming from the Insurance company; it had to come from my Primary care Dr. since the apt had transpired they needed to fax the diagnosis to my physician vs. the Insurance company faxing a referral to them. She advised I was "misinformed" She then had Anna perform one of the tests. Then she asked I get away from her space as I was waiting, she then asked Ana to escort me out, and call the police she went to see the Dr. and refused to give me my records. When the Dr. came out I reiterated my frustration with the demeanor of the receptionist and the insurance hassle, he advised the receptionist was his wife, I did not know; it should not matter, he asked I go elsewhere; I asked for the records to go see another optometrist and she refused. A patient by law is entitled to their records and she was withholding them. Do not go to these unprofessional people. Apparently, she is the Drs. wife; I did not know that, nor should that have any bearing on her demeanor. She acts as if she runs the For Eyes office. Also, the Dr. prescribed the Rx at Tier 4 which costs $100. when he could have prescribed a tier 2 or 3 [generic] 10/1/2014 contacted the board of optometry. For Eyes main office apologized but not satisfactorily.

Dr. Brodak is one of the best in regards to professionalism and competency. Ive been there twice and he is consistently attentive to quality of care and service to the patients concerns. He really listens and demonstrates his talents. I had an urgent walk-in due to sensation of a foreign object trapped under my eyelid. It caused a lot of pain, discomfort and watery eye. He assessed the general condition then proceeded to visualize w/ special eye drops and special lighting to observe any corneal damages. He located the object and removed it accordingly. My savior!!!

TERRIBLE i have been wearing glasses since i was in kindergarden so i desided to get contact lences now that im 30 i was so exsited but very disapointed one month later i get my contact and didnt even show me how to put them on never got a trail ones and when i get them my rigth eye was wrong had to ship them back ugh!!!!!! I dnt recomend this one to no one

Awesome convenient location. Excellent customer service. Doctor Brodak was jovial yet professional and laid-back. I’ve got a high school crush on the associate that helped me buy four pairs of glasses so this review is somewhat biased, sorry. :) Check this location out though – it’s conveniently located on the MC bus line.

I like the exam. I used to like the front. Turns out the medical section measure my PD as 70 but when I get glasses they measure 66.5 mm. Were my glasses wrong the past 10 years?
