I stopped by this store on a Saturday because they were located close to my house (i.e. convenience) and I needed temple guards re-installed on my sun glasses. I was not upset about the $15 charge for a pair of plastic objects took less than 1 minute to put on. But when I offered my credit card to pay for it, I was told there was a $25 minimum (really at an optician, so what am I supposed to do? it isnt like they have a pack of bubble gums to bring the total to par ;-) BY the way I learned later that the most they can charge for a minimum is $10. Anyway, they told me they would have to keep my sunglasses till I brought them their money. When I asked, is there anything else we could do (i.e charge me an extra buck or something) they said they could not. So I had to go home (10 minutes come back, 10 minutes) you guessed it, to pay $15 for two 15 cent piece of plastic. Funny thing is, I was going to have my new pair of glasses made there but you guesses it, instead now I am writing this review

I have been patronizing this optician for many years and am impressed with their friendliness and helpfulness. They have a huge selection of frames -- even many than are displayed -- and will work with me till I find the right pair. They have been voted "Best of Arlington" more than once. I definitely recommend this store.

I have been a customer at MacPhersons for years. I found them as a result of my eye doctor recommending them. I find the selection of frames to be amazing. I also like the fact that all of the staff neither push nor oversell. They take pride in making sure that I look good and see well. They are simply the best!

This is a great place to purchase glasses. Wonderful selection and service. Highly trained to pick out the frames that will look the best for ones face shape. Have had friends buy glasses here after they saw mine and the quality of the frame and lenses.
