I love that this Safeway is 24 hours but no matter what time I usually go there are not enough registers and if you use the self serve registers there is often one out of order. The self serve cashier often walks away from the station leaving patrons in a quandary if the self serve registers go down and cant recover without the attendants assistance. This happens often and can be so frustrating - especially if you try to use the self serv lines to get in and out quickly. Also they are often understocked or out of stock of a lot. Then another frequent issue this Safeway has is the sales prices posted on the shelves are often out of date. I dont mean to be negative but these issues are the norm at this Safeway. I hope these issues are resolved because it could be an excellent grocery store - the location is awesome.

The manager during evening shifts between 6-9pm is either blind or an idiot. They wait until the lines are 40 to 50 feet long at the registers before they open another one. They have a self serve register and one regular register.. they have a total of 7 registers - whats the point of having that much when you are not using them. My ice cream got soggy, milk was almost luke warm by the time I got out of there. I was either too lazy or too hungry to go to another store.. Horrible experience. Probably will drive an extra 2 miles from now on and shop at Giant.

Ive never waited less than 15 minutes to BEGIN to check out. Im not sure why this Safeway is the way it is but its very unfortunate. Its in a nice neighborhood but they really cant seem to get it together. Poorly .POORLY staffed. Its really only so much 1 manager can do. The staff is friendly , it just never seems like theres more than 2 clerks. Hope Harris teeter comes and shuts this place down. Been coming here for years and I just cant do it anymore. Id rather go anywhere else than here.

This store is always out if stuff. It has moldy produce on the shelves, and more than once I have bought meat that when I got home smelled bad. Ive tried at least 5 times to place bulk orders for pickup, and nobody has a clue. Carts are always in the parking lot, not in the place where you are supposed to get one. Lines are always long when its busy and cashiers are slow. Every other Safeway in the area is better than this one!

The meat department was not stock. Smoke Turkey Necks and Fresh Ground Beef Patties was discolored old looking. The Fresh Produce area smell like spoiled vegetables. And lastly absolutely no customer service. There was full self-service lines open lines backed up and one employee and one security guard. Customer service just gone out the window.

Lines are often VERY long. Today was no exception. Self service was open, 1 express and 2 regular. On each line customers were down the aisle. If this were occasional it wouldnt be so bad. However, it happens often.

Unorganized and often have to go elsewhere for the most basic,s. Example what grocery store runs out of hot dog and hamburger buns 4th of July weekend ? Its unfortunate that I was nit suprised.

Safeway, shoppers and giant are all horrible! Wait till lydl comes and puts a hurting on these stores. They will be forced to reduce their ridiculous prices or close the stores!
